Why would they sack bates from the president and then go to court ???

They are not working for bates

posted on 1/4/14

It would be one court case he couldn't lose if he batted for both teams.

Cellino said himself that "Bates was behind this shīt".

The company I work for did a 'pre-pack' admin the other year.

The little man was shafted! They went in Friday owing £millions and came out Monday as a new company with same owners - debts gone.

Stinks!

Poor creditors got very little unless we needed them going forward. Those we could replace got shafted.

Depends, if gfh do a pre pack, they wipe the debts, everyone loses apart from them.

posted on 1/4/14

also the tax payer gets shafted too..as Leeds wont be able to pay whatever tax they owe

Whatever GFH do they are a spent force now. They have to go ASAP!

Stinks stinks stinks and Cellino has been targeted because he knew it and wanted to out ppl.

They (or anyone) would have to be stupid to do that with a football club, the likelihood would be they lose a lot of important creditors, local business wouldn't deal with them, important accounts wouldn't deal with them, unless they got their money back.

It's not in anyone's interest to bust the club. Can't see gfh allowing it, but you never know with these guys.

I like the rest of us see Cellino as the big savour right now..but a lot of us thought the same about GFH cant see things getting better anytime soon..and for the record I don't see him getting it on Friday either... Farhan & Bates lurking in the back round..the big problem with Leeds we never cleared out they way Wilko did in the 90's...total clear out is needed...manager/players/and srn; management otherwise do nothing...........

One thing to mention as well is do GFH still own the club or did they "hand it onto" David Haigh to look after us. As he seems to be distanced from GFH now.

posted on 1/4/14

I bet Haigh and the other around him didn't take 50% wage cut last week??

posted on 1/4/14

Who believes he invested £2M in the clubs as well??

posted on 1/4/14

He didn't he loaned the club 2m

So many conspiracy theories.

I dont believe Bates is in anyway involved with GFH

We dont actually have a clue whats happened of late and what will happen next.

If cellino does not get the OK and I dont think he will, we need someone with his sort of money and ambition ( if you take him at his word) to buy back Elland Rd and Thorp Arch, get rid of most of the squad, the manager and anyone else involved in running the club the last 10 years.
We need a complete overhaul and fresh start but most of all......money.

With our fan base we can then remain sustainable.

Otherwise we will either become a distant memory or a bottom tier club for ever. Money talks in football these days and without it you get nowhere.

Lets hope the madman gets the OK

If we go into administration nobody wins

posted on 1/4/14

Whoever brings the club out of admin gets the club on the cheap, minus the debts not sure if this is winning .....but

No Wum here. I do not particularly like Leeds, history with Cloughie and all that, however, i do feel for you fans.

Sniffer Gray has the right idea. You have to get rid, root and branch of the poison that is affecting your club and start again.

Derby have been through this process, its taken ten years since the corrupt owners were gotten rid of, some ended up in jail. We ended up with foreign owners and an American management company.

It has taken some time to get the club back to stability, both on the pitch and off. At times it has been boring and mediocre, but we now have a no debt, a balanced team with quite few that have come through the academy.

I'm not sure how you can influence the buyers of your club, but going back to Bates is jumping back into the fire. Surely there is someone local that can take on your club.

Easier said than done unfortunately

posted on 1/4/14

I really don't think there is anyone local with the financial clout to really take the club forwards.

Totally agree that our club needs an utter cleansing from the foundations to the top of the stands. New owners, new players - new outlook.

If Bates comes back in whatever guise it may be, then that would be the single biggest reason for me not getting another ST. We need change and yes, money. Most of all though, we need some ownership with a willingness to be transparent in what they do. Sick to my back teeth of charlatans and shysters ..........

I really can't see the FL allowing GFH to pre pack and come out of admin still as owners. The club needs a fresh start- and there is way way too much media interest in LUFC for the FL to get this wrong.

Cellino or other new owners.

posted on 1/4/14

No way will gfh pre pack

They haven't the money now, so how will the finance us, when nobody gives us credit because of admin

posted on 1/4/14

Whats all this talk of GFH, think Ken Bates and you will be a lot nearer the mark

posted on 1/4/14

Cellino said himself that Bates is till behind everything. He knows more than us.

Mike

In a mumbled telephone call, it's hard to take anything serious. He even said he was drunk.

Ken bates is not behind GFH

He sued them !!!!!
