How do you rate their chances of winning this tournament?

If I had to be brutally honest I would say our boys are second favorites to win or joint-second(after India and tied with Sri Lanka). As with Pakistan, our team can be notoriously unpredictable, whether or not they can go all the way again is left to be seen. What I've been pleased to see is their marked improvements in games subsequent to the India match and our lessening reliance on a certain Christopher Gayle.

Can the West Indies do it? I certainly hope they can and are rightly considered favorites, but with an India team that seems formidable and a Sri Lankan team that is getting results and the "dark horses" South Africa it is set up for an enthralling finish.

I wish them every success, the added bonus of seeing their celebrations would make it all the sweeter.

Its only a game played over 40 overs.. 2 innings of 20 overs each. and the west-indies are the bees knees..

England aren't good in ANY form of Cricket. Too many big heads and injuries regressed the team to a new low.

Why are some England fans bitter for? Whenever a team is doing well in ODIs or T20 they use the test cricket argument. Most people aren't even bothered about test matches.

Let us not forget that West Indies team is the reigning WorldT20 title holders. They beat SL in Colombo in the final. Narine 3/9 and Samuels was the star batsman in the final.

Samuels has not clicked so far, and it is about time.

With Gayle, Samuels, Bravo, and late fireworks from Sammy, they have a decent batting power for this format. Badree and Narine have been awesome.

I would love to see West Indies get to the final.

They even suck in test cricket as you know their recent thrashing they got in Aus. Even in home they lost to SA last time, so in brief they suck big time in all forms of cricket. When KP won them T20, they were gloating how cool they were in that form of game..

Now some England fans are back to reality after Dutch hammering but tools like Neo and Englundwhoelse always talk crap about subcontinent teams. For e.g they have issues with pitches only in subcontinent but it's all good in their backyards. Bowlers like Ajmal chucks, even though ICC has no issues. All the decisions of ICC favor bowlers from subcontinent and are against specially England bowlers. Bro etal; are perfect with their manners but players from India, Pak n Srilanka are bunch of arrogant fools. I hope you got my point and in short they are in their la la la land/denials.

I am waiting for India tour this summer in England and have a bet this bigmouth Englundwhoelse..

Wow.. So in your world of morality, someone is already guilty with some allegations/rumors. If that is the case then many players won't be eligible to play. Dhoni is not even charged in any court yet you base your analysis on that ground. Also it is ridiculous if someone believes they are true, as you may know that he is one of the richest sportsman in the world. I am in favor of fair investigation but in the mean time he deserves to play just like any other player. In US if you are charged, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty but in this case he is not even charged.

Also I don't see one common-sense reason why a player like Dhoni would get involved who has everything. He won us T20, World Cup, won titles for his IPL team etc and can buy anything he wants with his money power. So the rumors/allegations seems to be not so reliable. Even the source is very shady regarding this allegation.

Also there is lot of politics in India currently. I myself don't like BCCI or that tool Srinivasan and hope he gets kicked out forever. Kudos to Supreme court in India who are taking this matter very seriously. India is not perfect but improving with time, at current the most democratic country in the world, secular, and no crazy militants/dictatorship ever ruling the country. Some folks talked politics here on this site regarding India and I don't want to get involved but want to point that India never attacked any country. Anybody can check the history if they really want to see the truth.

I want South Africa to win this tournament bcoz i think it would help raise crickets profile in that country among uncricketing communities. Cricket is already no.1 in south asia

Samuels is struggling there and making the chase almost impossible for WI. Bravo had to take too many risks. I wish Samuels had left and Bravo remained.

WI went too slow with a plan for late fireworks. The strategy worked a couple of times here, but is likely to fail more often.

Best wishes to Lankans in the final. They bowled and fielded well and deserve to be in the final.
