wage structure is an important part of running a football club if you don't have sugar daddy
What I don't understand, is how come we apparently have such a large wages bill?
Does it mean all the apprentices, reserves etc are on massive wages?
it was the cesc wage before, but now he's gone your club and chelsea dont help. its because of you lot that prices and wages are inflated, which is why we get bullied out of everything. because you paid 20mil for lescott, we now have to pay a similar amount for jagielka. why couldnt you guys be run by the asian crook again
well we have the 5th highest wage bill in the league but finished 4th so i don't see how it is that huge? we pay decent wages just obviously not the extortionate levels that clubs above us can spend.we so also pay our young players quite a bit though. plus we include every single staff member on the wage bill (tea lady, etc. etc.) whereas other clubs don't.
the problem is city have distorted the market.
Clubs like city and chelski don't live within their means, they can pay what ever wage they want.
Wenger lives in the real world, he made nasri a generous offer but city are offered him more money then xavi and inniesta ( the best two midfielder in world football and who have won everything) earn at barcelona
The sad thing is city t are turning players into mercenaries.
Wenger is blameless, he can do nothing but watch players leave.
Their is no point in wenger panic buying as one extra player will no longer win us a trophy this year, we will have to rebuild again. And see where we are in 2-3 years from now.
True. But why is Tevez linked with Arsenal? Oh god I am a happy guy on September, 1.
tevez is just paper chat. journalists making up nonsense with no evidence but just writing 'an unnamed source close to the club' to make it credible.
Apparently Tevez would be happy with Arsenal because it would cut hours off his journey tome to Argentina to see his family and is just as easy as from Italy.
The wage structure at Arsenal is that the squad players get far more than at other teams and the top players earn a bit less, so the average is quite high.
