Injury update from brazil.....

I think we might see Reid back in next week or so but Vaughan and Lansbury won't be back until May apparently and I'm fairly sure Wilson doesn't play for Forest anymore! He did an interview in early March saying he'd played a youth team game and would be back shortly. But he's still mysteriously injured. I'll be extremely surprised if he plays again this season. So brilliant that Reid will be back but we won't see the other two until the play-offs, if we somehow scrape in

Hey SBD... McDermott at Leeds looks like getting the chop .... I wonder if your Billy will fancy another job

Is this Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde on today?

posted on 4/4/14

Only saying. Wouldn't put it past Davies to go for the job and ruin Leeds, would you?

My mate now has his own login but can't post in the day due to restrictions

I see Pearce looks forward to working with Lansbury again. I see him in a similar mould. Committed, strong and hard to knock off the ball

Did you not read my post on the prediction league after he was sacked?

Guess not

He was a good manager and will always respect what he tried to do (on the field) for Forest but he has gone now unfortunately and with Psycho, at least we have got in someone who is passionate about the club!!!

Davies won't get any respect off me.

Did you know.. this is a fact as well. Heard it from the inside. After the final whistle at the Derby game, he was out of the stadium within 2 minutes. He did not go to the players in the dressing room afterwards.

But we at least agree on one thing Pearce. I'm pleased we have appointed him. Yes it is a gamble, but there are not many about who wouldn't be. I prefer him over Hoddle, Warnock and Clarke. The only other manager I would of considered is Zola. So let's hope Pearce brings us back something your Billy was never going to do

Glad Lansbury is close to being back, we have missed him

Hopefully with some of our core players coming back in Reid, Lansbury, Wilson and Vaughan, we can get ourselves back into the playoffs and stay there this time.

Then when they come around, we will just have to see

I think we will get the sheep in them though which in a way I am glad about

Well that's it then........................... it must be a fact

Sorry Rob..... It is very true.

He left straight away.

Agree with your point as well, I am much happier with Pearce in charge then the 3 you mentioned.

Out of everyone linked, only Malky would I have been happy with other then Pearce.

Now I have thought about it, it could work

Whether it is or it isn't, it is irelvent now.

We will have to argue about something else.

I haven't seen stret's in a long time, he must be thinking of what to hate next

MacKay would have been good but I doubt we could attract him at the moment. He'll end up back in the Prem. First manager to get sacked next year will be replaced with him IMO

Agree with you .

If pearce can get a good backroom staff in to support him, and with our core squad of players atm, it could be a successful management

I'm sure iv'e said that before though, but at least we won't all be arguing whether we like the guy or not this time.

Well not yet from some of you anyway

posted on 4/4/14

Hey ... The guy is a legend. No need to argue.

Ignore the Derby fans. Most of the ones I know say they expect us to do a Leicester next year. They are hoping they go up because they don't think their schtevie will perform next year

posted on 4/4/14

if they are in the Championship that is

posted on 4/4/14

They will be

I really want them in the playoffs as need to get revenge, and what a better way would it be to beat them in the playoffs

Webbo trust me mate. If Derby don't go up this season. Derby will be a force for the top two positions next season

posted on 4/4/14

Plus whenever anyone says "trust me", that means they do not even entirely believe their own conviction.

Wassa ... It will be a tough league and again.... any team (capable) that can stay clear of injuries will do well.

You may get 2nd now anyway... Burnley have lost their 2 strikers

Is ssschtevie the manager of the season?! The turnaround under him has been amazing!!

Someone else made the point the other day though.... He doesn't seem to perform when expectations are high. So I think the sheep better do it this year .... Crikey it'd be awful .....

Webbo I'm happy with the play offs this year

Super ever since we've gone into the top six. Have we dropped out? Unlike your lot of course oh and we've had injuries. But we don't complain about it

posted on 4/4/14

Wassa, you haven't dropped out because everyone below you is diabolical

Also SBD, why are you so sure that Derby won't win the play-offs? Are you as sure they would finish 8th?! I think they are joint favourites with Wigan as I think Burnley will hold on to 2nd. The only team that Forest would probably beat over two legs is QPR. We would get stuffed against all the others. I do think that if Derby are in the Championship next season that McClaren will find it much harder than taking over from Clough.
