Another bad day at the office. I also wasn't there tonight so can't comment but my thoughts are:
Why on earth would you drop your best centre back and near record signing after 1 bad game
Is Sven panicking reverting back to players such as King, Dyer and Gallagher all at once? Tweaking the team I'd understand but such wholesale changes?
Waggy sounds like a man devoid of any confidence. A loan move is required for him.
I still have big concerns about our ability to create chances with the current system and players. We seem too narrow at times. It doesn't matter what striker we sign, unless we can create more chances, try won't score either!
I hope Sven finds a winning formula fast. We clearly have some quality in the squad, it just hasn't shown in the last two matches.
I personally feel we're lacking a winger more than a striker, but what do I know!
Schmeical working out for you ok? Ha Ha!
Saving graces...
erm...
That Maynard fellow will be a good signing.
Seriously though, Schmeichel, Bamba, Koncheskey & Peltier weren't bad - not individually anyway. Nugent tried hard and was probably our best player; good for him to get off the mark as well.
As for the rest...
Nugent and Kasper look a different class.
St Ledger looked like a clown.
Koncheskey is yet to convince me.
Fernandes had another poor performance.
I know he made an absolute howler, but I didn't think St Ledger did too much wrong and his ball distribution was fine - Bamba was awful!
St Ledger had a good game but making such a bad mistake is too costly. I thought Nugent and Peltier were the only 2 to impress
MGLCFC - I agree with your thoughts.
St Ledger's distribution was far better than what we had witnessed from Mills in the first three games.
Nugents touch and effort in the main was very impressive and I also felt both full backs had reasonable games.
As for the rest I think it's the shape which makes it more unbearable to watch than anything else - over to you SGE.
