think he is a good player myself and would probably fit into most top teams.
two footed and an eye for goal....needs that "floating" role though as you say and most top teams cannot afford that type of player
Get in peno for Southampton.
Anyway I think Lallana will be able to handle the pressure. He would have gone missing for |England when he played if he couldn't and he did well, got on the ball and was brave. Two good feet, great first touch, balance, work rate and desire.
I'd like him at LFC and think he could fit in well.
He's a talented player, but would he be allowed to be 'the man' at a bigger club like he is at Southampton? Could well improve playing with better players (no disrespect to Southampton) but wouldn't necessarily standout as much
Hes excelled at every level since the league 1 I think. He's proved he can step up to the championship, then to the premierleague, then top half PL which isn't easy and is even a full international now. He deserves a shot at the next step up
Yeh I'm nervous about Charlie Adam syndrome. Although he was a different animal (sloth!!)
I'd like him at Liverpool but just wonder how good he'd be. £10-£15m I'd take him I suppose
Dammit! Offside cost us a result there, and now again!!!!!
Step up....
He has shown in limited internationals that he has 'it'
He does remind me a bit of Pienaar in that if he did step up to a CL chasing team or above he wouldn't look as effective, but then I could be wrong. And I do really like Lallana. This season he's been one of the best playmakers in the PL. I think if he (and Sturridge) we're foreign they'd get more praise. I can't remember who it was against but there was a goal he scored where he beat 3-4 players and scored near post - if Silva scored that it'd always be on replay.
Kenyan.
When you look at pundit WC squads then he is in them all.
Because he's in great form. Will that carry on to another club? I'm apprehensive
You could say that with any player.
Also, will he look to move/be up for sale. A good WC and clubs will come knocking
Exactly. That's why I'm not sure.
He's played all levels. Can he keep going? Or is this a run of form. Steve Finnan played all levels but couldn't get any better for us (good player mind).
All clubs know about him, he's English. But you're right it could add £5m to him
Young Hispanic type per chance?
It seems like you want to limit him or his potential.
You could use adam as an example. But how about so called better players taking a step out of the limelight, not doing it at a lower profile club
I trust brendan not to get him
