I was waiting for the 70k crowd to get on their feet and applaud Taker out the building.

Instead we got flutters of claps and the odd thank you Taker.

It was probably wrestling a greatest story and they ended it like that. Disappointing!

The crowd ruined what was probably his last match. Had they announced he would retire if he lost it would've probably caused a celebration he deserved but that was truly pathetic from New Orleans.

Still feeling the ramifications of Katrina that's why.

Nah they cheered just fine for the Saints. It's probably from all the bad jazz on their streets.

Huzlers isn't a site to trust. The streak was meant to end last night. Really don't understand the decision to have Brock end it though. Didn't see that coming at all.

It was just a dumb decision all around. Nobody is happy it happened. It didnt get the build up it deserved. It was handled completely wrong.

To be fair to the writers I think Undertaker has wanted Lesnar to end it for a long time.

If you watch the ending to Taker match, before Taker is about to attempt a tombstone he says something to Brock. I reckon Undertaker knew he couldn't carry on with the dead crowd and told Brock to pin him clean with an F5. I have a theory on Sting as well (doesn't involve Undertaker). Vickie Guerrero is leaving WWE on RAW tonight. Rumours were months ago Sting would debut night after 'Mania as the new RAW GM. After seeing Taker lose, makes more sense now.

As much as I can see the last second decision theories etc about Takers loss, it seemed premeditated to me. All the signs etc showing 21-1 and the standing ovation from the staff. I just think its time for Taker now. Bryan vs Brock up next?

Backstage at WM the rumours were that was indeed his last match and that the match went exactly as planned. Sting maybe the new RAW GM?

If this was as planned then the creative team need sacking.

I thought it was a good mania, just because Taker lost it doesn't mean it was terrible like some Taker fanboys are saying.

also it was deffinitley planned, taker wouldnt have changed it mid-match he would have carried on till the end, he's a professional.

Yeah, the match was poor for Taker's standards but it still created a memorable mania moment. All the others matches excluding the Divas were good - the Bryan-HHH opener was incredible. It was a good mania, not terrible.
