You were pretty good at the beginning of the season without him but you've certainly needed his class at times.
Would love him a Chelsea, but he's not sh\t and past it yet, so well have to wait!

I think his new deal was £200k a week or something.
Nobody ever really knows. The press just make it up.

Rooney is a freak of economics.

He's at a club back on the rise. He's happy there by all accounts. You will be competing at the highest level again. The Monet us good. All good reasons for him to stay. Trouble is, these Latin players get brainwashed from a young age to want to play for those two in Spain.

the rareist of combinations....total skill combined with an unflinching will to win

Zlatan comes to mind.
He's on 170k pw ATM but that goes up to 200k if he stays beyond the summer.
He isn't the type of player that will leave for the money. He is being payed plenty here and if he seeks a move it will be for footballing reasons only.

Yep and thanks to good old spurs selling Bale for 86m it means we can ask for a figure well in excess of that, so thanks Sizzle
Liverpool would be daft to sell him for anything less than £80M. At least then they can buy another class striker and still have plenty of change.left.

Firstly, could someone copy and paste this article please?
Secondly, the timing of this story is interesting with the Liverpool vs City game fast approaching
turns out mourinhos is very well linked to castles, funny that

even if madrid did want him, i would imagine that we would ask for moratta to be included and we would then be serious contenders for buying costa, which would still leave us with a decent wedge to buy another top player
I know, but the 20-30 players in this league that are better than him will still be wanting wage increases if someone so average can be on 300k
...
Please name them

do you? says who?
we had a deal agreed for him last summer, before he became "popular" so there is definite interest from rodgers
