" It might be a good idea to finish sixth and knock either Wigan or Derbyout, leaving us an easy game at Wembley."
However, if Wigan or Derby win the other tie, that would mean you'd have a tougher semi-final, whilst still ending up with the tough Wembley final you are trying to avoid
What i posted was somewhat tongue in cheek. At the risk of sounding arrogant i don't see Derby, Wigan and A.N. Other as tough games. But i do see your point.
RR. Funnily enough we'd rather play you than Bournemouth. Don't kid yourself. The play offs are about desire and ambition. Things the overpaid prima donnas at QPR know little about.
They are also a complete lottery though. We'll take whoever we get. Which includes potentially every club down to 11th place still - Watford I think.

Fair enough. To be honest it still seems too similar to when West Ham won the playoffs a couple of years ago, can't help feeling you'll do the same.
Peeder, ain't kidding myself,i'm just being opeful. Of course the play offs are a lottery but some team is gonna win them. Why not us, why not you. Do you really believe it still goes down to eleventh place ?
RR - yes, just about. 12th even, if Watford win their game in hand. We are both in the play offs with no more points needed for us and 2 for you.
Then Wigan - just about there, maybe 4/5 points to be sure.
Then its perm 1 from 7. Reading are poor but have a 2 point gap over Brighton, Ipswich and Bournemouth who are all in decent form (exceptional form for Bournemouth).
Realistically, its one of those 4 for 6th place but Nottm Forest, Blackburn and Watford can all sneak in if they win at least 4 games (5 for Watford).
Chronic ole boy, you still around ? I fort your season was over. Maybe you think you can get that 4th place.
