I don't think you'll roll over. I think it will be heroic. I think you'll go out anyway, but you'll have something to be proud of and probably something to complain about too.

It's interesting to see a few of them don't seem to have taken to Pep yet despite the fact they had the league rapped up 2 months in advance. It's very hard to feel sorry for them

Interesting seeing where the forum members are from - a few from the ex-Yugoslav states, one from Norway...

Alex from Bosnia doesn't look like someone to mess with.

Sometimes I wonder if we win all of these games because of Pep's coaching, or in spite of it. Probably, somewhere in the middle. Which is something you could say about every talented squad. I don't doubt Pep, because he wins and he has a great record. I just don't feel as comfortable with his squad in times of hardship (rarely happens) as I did with Jupp's. I worry about this years team when we don't establish our dominance and dictate the game early.

very good post this.

.................

They haven't had any competition. A weak Dortmund are 20 points behind, and crap like Shalke and Levekusen who have both been well hammered in Europe are even further behind.

It is a rich mans Scottish Premier League this season

I hear you. Although the photo has the look of something from a breakfast cereal / yoghurt advert rather than a selfie.

I understand where they are coming from. Last year they were a lot more mechanical and ruthless compared to this year. When arsenal went down to 10 men bayern were doing ineffective passing instead of going for the jugular like they wouldve last year under jepp

These comments are so different from the ones posted last year before the Juve or even Barca game. Every single Bayern fan seemed to expect a win whereas this year their fans seem to lack confidence.

From the games I have watched this season (mainly CL games) they have looked a shadow of last year's treble winners, especially against Arsenal I thought they were average home and away.

Seeing what some of these Bayern fans have to say has really boosted my confidence levels, could make a killing betting on United to go through!

I wonder whether they know we are watching them.

I wonder whether they have another thread where they are discussing what we are saying.

Oh boohoo we have the best squad in the world and sometimes if we start slow we don't look as dominant, despite not losing in something like 55 domestic matches...

Cry me a river.

Goes to show it's not just United who have some 'the world owes me something' type fans.

I think more than the result, the brand of football Bayern Munich plays under Guardiola is intolerable barring 4-5 matches in whole season...missing the brand of football we played under Jupp....outright terrible football by Bayern like Barcelona...

There appears to be a lot of love for Pizzaro as well, some of them aren't fans of Mandzukic or the pass-pass-pass....pass agin style as some have said, which i fully understand.

Pizarro is their Kagawa.

I can understand Bayern fans frustration. For me, as well as Pep has had both Barca and Bayern playing, its a sterile type of football. I think Barca and now Bayern play well within themselves. Pep seems to value more control and possession over penetration and potential scoring chances.

For what Pep has said this week about English teams set up to defend and catch his teams out after a mistake, could it not also be said that he does the same with his teams, albeit his team are defensive with the ball, and opposition teams defensive without it?

Yes, but what they do in their private lives is not our concern. It's what happens on the pitch that matters...
