As annoying and smug diving cheat Robben is, you can't deny that he's a very good quality player.

Surprised Chelsea ever let him go.

Goatzeze's been crap and always is when I watch him play.

You have to say though, some of these players are cack. I am no supporter of moyes, but he has been banging on about keeping the ball all week. Surely these players should be able to string 5 passes together. Has carrick passed the ball forward this game?

5 passes? You are asking for too much.

Robben was very injury prone at Chelsea, he's a tank now

Against a Guardiola team with quality players, sometimes keepball is not always possible, so the next best option is to defend and squeeze out the threats.

At least we have a plan B.

To be fair, Bayern are closing down amazinglly well when we have the ball.

When we were in the attacking 3rd towards the corners, it was like we were surrounded.

stunning

I've always thought that. Brilliant player.

That is still a poor stat for them. Lots of the possession but - dare I say? - a lack of imagination...

Clockwork

A solid first half from Man Utd. Bayern had 11 shots but David De Gea is yet to make a save.

Yeah Robben did have his injury problems at Chelsea. But if only they could have predicted he's improvement.
I'm sure they'd not turn him down but doubt he'd ever go back anytime soon.

RVP's Left Foot

Funny to think the last time we talked Utd were the best team in the country and Liverpool were a Europa League side.

Personally I think Ribery is worse than Robben, a right sewer rat!

I hate possession based football. Kills the game. Counter attacking all day long.

Real and Dortmund are the two best teams to watch for those reasons.

Would love us to play like Dortmund, but under Moyes well at least for tonight's game - his defensive capabilities are certainly showing.

We just need to take our chances and not be too selfish. Pass during link up play to shoot if needed. It's a team sport Mr Rooney.
