Keep Adebayor at all costs. He has been excellent for us recently.
Missing out on CL is going to really set you back.
Liverpool were able to sign Suarez but we were still seen as a huge club who would get back in the CL eventually.
I think it's going to be difficult for Spurs next season.
I wouldn't be surprised if we took Eriksen off you either.

Whoa there metro. Liverpool are having a great season which is nice to see they are a big team with a big history however tottenham hotspur are also a big team with a big history.
Absoloute rubbish to suggest you could cherry pick our best players on the basis of one season. It would be a step sideways for any player.

Yo raptor! Hope your good buddy.
I would love michu or bony. Bony can be as good as drogba and michu is world class. You have to watch his positioning how he plays he is unbelievable. Disgrace that Swansea are down the bottom.
Sadly I have no doubt broomfield will be all out for loic remy.
"Liverpool were able to sign Suarez but we were still seen as a huge club who would get back in the CL eventually."
Didn't seem to be thinking that last summer, did he.
My choice of strikers
Benteke ( yes I know he's injured )
Lukaku
Bony
Remy
All prem experienced
I'd like to see us with Soldado, Lukaku and Hernandez next season - skill, strength and pace.
I would just like the club to have a clear transfer policy that actually addresses the unbalance of our squad and targets the many weak positions in our starting line up. Rather than either just signing whoever some random dof fancies or even has financial interest in, or waiting till the last second and signing whoever a left.

What's the issue ?
We were never far away even in our troubled years and now with new owners, huge revenue streams and record breaking sponsorship deals, it was inevitable for me.
Can Spurs hope to attract the calibre of players and the levels of finance to catch the rest - I think it'll be very difficult and you've got all these new signings vying for places. Add more in the summer and a busy Europa league schedule and you're screwed.

sorry - was a bit mischievous, but I have followed it up with a reasoned view on why we'd get back in the CL.

You would sell Ade?! He's been brilliant this season. We would probably be 10th without him.
I'm not sure I'd even buy a striker. The new manager is going to probably play just one up top. Ade is class, Soldado is class (although hasn't been in the prem so far) and Kane is decent backup.
If you compare those three to Chelsea and Arsenal's strikeforces they are superior.
With our abundance of attacking mids, I think 4231 will suit us best
Kane is never a PL striker. If we're relying on Ade to be in a good mood we're screwed imo. He wants Sherwood to stay and could well sulk under a new manager.

Soldado will be good next year
As with most teams the most likely formation will be a single striker with wide attackers/strikers and then a more creative player in behind.
Liverpool play with a striking pair, usually in front of a diamond and City do something similar, although they have reverted back to 1 striker in recent weeks.
With no CL we cannot afford to have 2 or 3 quality strikers on our books because they will simply not get enough games.
I don't think that Ade/Soldado really work as a partnership.
I personally think we need more of a wide striker, someone one in the Remy mould, a direct player, who can play centrally but is best coming from wider areas (would be a good Lennon replacement/backup).
I also think we need a very decent No.10, to in behind. Such players are creative, score goals and also contribute in the midfield. Eriksen can perform this role but he is more of a pure midfielder IMO. I also think to be effective a no.10 needs to be able to go around a player, Eriksen/Chadli/Siggy or whoever you wish to chose does not really have that in their locker. Who knows whether Lamela will turn out to be this sort of player.
A lot will depend on Lamela, if he stays he will need to have an impact, so if he does then we don't need another big signing up front, but if he flops we might be found a bit short in attacking areas again.
----------------Dembele-----Sandro--------------
------------------------Lamela-------------------------
Remy-----------------------------------------Eriksen
------------------------Ade---------------------------
Maybe Lamela & Eriksen interchangable.
Remy's a good shout. Versatile and quality.
Don't think we need an out and out striker.
We need investment in the defence first and foremost before we think about any other position IMO, especially if we flog Vertonghen to Barca or wherever. We have such a weak backline.
