I'm off on the lash after work so currently clock watching ...........
Keep it in your pants tonight halfy
Reading that Crewe will be a very different style of team that we have got used to at Gresty Road. Over the years they have been a nice footballing team but quite easy to play against. Now their two strikers are 6'5 and 6'3 and they have a 6'3 wide player and tend to knock the ball long. Sounds like a bruising test for Batth and Stearman
Maierhoffer was about 7ft but he couldn't jump and had no physical presence at all about him!
The lads at crewe just happen to be tall, they aren't bruisers.
Well I've just been for a walk around Crewe town centre, pubs are all open & no wolves fans anywhere in sight, what an anticlimax I was expecting it to be heaving this close to kick off
Wouldn't argue with you about maierhofer as for Crewe let's see tomorrow
Out of interest, how tall are batth and stears?
6.2 ish?
Golbourne must be the smallest of our back line isn't he?
Actually your description of maierhofer sounds a lot like Leon also sadly
Easy drive in the morning for many mike, though never understood those that go to games and then rush back to the local.
Went up to London many times to see games involving wolves or saints and many peeps we were with were desperate to get back to home base, it drove me nuts.
In other news, I have just consumed a large portion of curried goat with rice and peas - washed down with Jamaican ginger beer and a cheesecake to finish.
No drive for me Cinci, already here - as for rushing back to the local I can't, pigs are closing them all till 6
You live up there mike?
Closing them til six, is that normal or is wolves arrival the reason?
Is treaty road an old fashioned close to the town center ground?
The police have decided that it's warranted for some reason, 2200 tickets sold but more fans expected

Gresty is just behind the railway station, 1/2 mile from town but a dozen pubs in Nantwich road which is only a matter of yards from the ground
Don't think there will be many wolves fans in the home areas. They have only sold tickets to people already registered as a Crewe fan. Which bizarrely will probably mean many empty seats
Yeah I tried to get a couple for mates DJ but even the Crewe postcode didn't help with, did manage 1 with a supporter number borrowed off an Alex fan from the pub
DJ I'm intrigued by this 6' 3" wide monster of a player that Crewe have, you mentioned him earlier...........

He must be awfully slow if he's that fat but I guess he is one héll of a defender. How on earth do wingers get around him?
We should be petrified of their burly attackers.
What with them helping Crewe to 21st place in the league.
ha, good spot gem
Its a shame that police feel they have to do that sort of thing, in what should be a good day for local businesses the police deem it right to put the town on lockdown because of a few rowdy idiots
The town sounds ideal for a good away day drinking session as well.
How about a prediction for the starting lineup? I'll go with:
................................Ikeme
Ricketts.........Batth...........Stearman...........Golbourne
......................Price.............McDonald
Henry............................................................Sako
...............................Jacobs
................................Dicko
