I'm gutted.
Mainly because we didn't deserve to get hammered.
We played plenty of decent football but sadly Daly was anonymous and shiels missed when it was easier to score. We then gifted United 2 goals. The difference was they took their chances.
In the second half we were crying out for a bit of pace to take advantage of our possession. Mccoist just wasn't willing to remove Daly.
Don't want to talk about the 3rd though.
Enjoy yer day tangerines. You did to us what we used to do to other teams.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You haven't beaten United in the cup for 25 years.
Armstrong is a talented boy.
United's best player today.
I thought peralta had his best game in a rangers jersey, moshni was facking shocking as was the goalie
united got the breaks , took the chances but we gifted them two goals possibly 3
I think for long periods rangers were the better side
Your goal was a gift as well though.
Agree with that laudrup.
Daly anonymous too apart from that miss and kneeing McCulloch in the face.
Law was awful though, another stealing a wage.

Agreed. Fantastic player. Utd deserved their win. However, with Wallace and Bell in our team I think that could/would have made the difference. They were there for the taking. Daly was a waste of a jersey

No it was a well tken free kick, goalie couldnt reach it, he reached the one in the 2nd half unlucky for us
Don't think Smith let us down at all.

That was only the third time I have seen Rangers this season, but that was by far the best I have seen them play.
I had feared for them going into the championship based on the games against the wee Rovers and the wee'er Rovers. But based on what I saw today I think that Rangers will get promoted again next year. They will need an entire new starting XI before they will be able to compete in the top 6 of the SPFL though.

Kind of player we are missing in truth.
Armstrong hadn't been at the races for a few games but that was much more like it from him.
Shame the rest of the team was pretty mince. Thought Mackay-Steven would have a field day, but not so much.
Rangers can play better than that as well, a lot of our main players are out injured and some are just off form
Hobo.
It looked to me that Mackay Steven had lost a bit of pace from the last time I saw him play to be honest.
He's still a cracking player mind.

Did he get motm? I thought he was really excellent today. He wouldn't be out of place in a "big" team. Congrats on your win. Hope you pump the sheep!

Nah yir awright, we're fine here thanks.
<phew>
Bluenose - Yeah, after he came back from an injury last season it seemed as if he had lost a bit of pace. Happens to a lot of players sadly. Improved on other parts of his game this season though, especially his final ball & finishing.
Your Maw - Think he did, Sky were speaking to him at the end of the game along with GMS, so assume it was him who got it. Armstrong is one of our most rounded players; his only weakness is consistency. Only just turned 22 though, so that should come with age.

Rangers played a lot better than I was expecting TBH. Utd were fecking awful though, to be fair ... just that their defending wasn't nearly as comedy bad as Rangers was on the day.
Used to quite rate Daly. Is he always that bad these days?

He has ben getting steadily worse over the months, today was just the pits, that miss

I would actually say he was better now than he was then. More to his game.
Daly was a player that always had to be used in a very specific way, otherwise he was utterly useless. I never rated him highly at all, such a limited player.
