Fully agree. Gives us something different it's mostly Giroud's fanboys but Sanogo starting was the right choice looked enthusiastic from the off. Let's not forget he's playing in spurts after returning from that long injury lay-off
You nailed it on the head with 'kid'. If he played for Man U etc people will rave he has potential....which he has.....if he gets a goal he will settle down...
Agreed about Sanogo. And some people were saying hes no better than Giroud or Bendtner, but as hes only 21 he has time to improve unlike the others.
I agree that Pod is not contributing much at the moment, I think he is carrying an injury and there were 2 or 3 times I saw him rubbing his right ankle. I think thats the one he had surgery on last summer. There have also been numerous occasions that he has been limping this year so I expect him to have surgery or other treatment after the World Cup, if he even makes it there.
It is more anger at the transfer activity in the summer, and more so January.
If Arsenal had a star striker more would give Sanogo leeway.
it's not his fault, but he shouldn't be a starter at Arsenal FC.
I agree it's a refreshing change for Giroud's static performances.
But seriously guys, Giroud or Sanogo , something has gone wrong, hopefully fixed in summer
It's quite obvious that he is a rubbish footballer and will never make it but he gives 110% so can't fault him for that. Don't see why anybody would hate on him, maybe hate on Wenger for putting us in a situation where we have to play him.
4-4-2 WAS A GREAT CHOICE BY WENGER. GOT TO APPLAUD THA FOCKER FOR THAT DECISION RIGHT THERE.
AS FOR SANOGO THE BASTAD IM REALLY POSITIVE ABOUT THE GUYS FUTURE.
FOCK DA HATERS, HES ONLY FOCKIN STARTED 4 GAMES
And 4-4-2......lets keep it at that...

Another awful comment
Cannot deny his effort, it's not his fault Wenger failed to adequately reinforce us up front. Still very raw, but I think he's got something about him. If he can improve his first touch, and general awareness, which given he's young should come in time, he can be a very effective player for us.
I don’t agree with the Sanogo hate either. I feel that with the current striking situation there is this pressure because the striker who we all expect to do well, our number one striker, is crap. So Sanogo stepping in there is kinda like too much for him a bit? I don’t know but Sanogo is not that bad.

don't forget improve his shooting
Nah 4-4-2 was only effective chasing the game starting both Giroud & Sanogo over 90mins wouldn't do much
Just like Giroud's little flicks here and there Sanogo brought Rambo & Ox in to play nicely on many occasions good player
I think the reason people like Sanogo is because he is quick and strong - unlike Giroud.
He runs around a lot and hassles defenders which always wins people over.
However he is lacking too many attributes to even be a half decent footballer.
He has no technique, his touch is terrible. He decision making is non existent. He can't pass and he always seems to shoot on instinct, there is no thought process on where he is actually going to put the ball.
I can tolerate him because Giroud makes my eyes bleed but he needs to be loaned next season at the very least. Chuba Akpom cannot do much worse than what we have at the moment in my opinion.
When the ball hits the stands hold your head in your hands its Sanogo
Some t@wats on here. Wouldnt surely put him down when we would have lost it. Idiots.
Could have pinched Suarez.
Penny pinched and got Sanogo
Sanogo was a little bit comedy show today, but you simply can't fault his effort and hard work. Doesn't hide either, kept plugging away.
Done better than Giroud and Podolski did today, too.
I think he needs a year on loan personally
He's neither good enough to be a starter or sub at Arsenal yet
Wow, you can tell we havent had a good striker in a while when people are rating Sanogo lmao. Guys another JET. Will always support him in the red and white but its simple.. Hes nowhere good enough to play for Arsenal, or any top half prem team tbh.
Agreed about Sanogo. And some people were saying hes no better than Giroud or Bendtner, but as hes only 21 he has time to improve unlike the others.

Not sure I agree. After all, he's 21 years old and still runs like he's on stilts - he's so awkward and clumsy that he almost seems like he's about to fall over with every step.
At 21, he's averaged 7 games a season for the last five years, and he's been blighted by injury through most of his teens. There are more talented youngsters out there who are further along with their footballing development, who arguably deserve a chance at Arsenal more.
Done better than Giroud and Podolski did today, too.
Giroud did well when come on.Gibbs and him gave us a bit momentum back. But surely you couldnt see that because your hatred doesnt allow that. T;wat
Sanogo have the defenders problems. More so than Giroud would have done had he started but Giroud coming of the bench is better as he plays better.
Sanogo should've has at least one. That header especially was a sitter.
