Yeah rightful sending off. Those tackles are just not allowed anymore.
Big loss. Hopefully Allen/Lucas can provide good cover in his absence.

Time for a fresh pair of legs in Allen and Lucas, hendo needs the rest

Gutted for him. Been a key man for is this season. But I's rather he missed the next 3 games and back for the last. I don't think he'd ever forgive himself if he was banned for our last game of the season if the title was on the line

Confident Lucas or Allen can step in probably Allen against Norwich and Lucas against Chelsea

I don't think anyone is forgetting it, it was a straight red and what's done is done, he's had a brilliant season and has been as big a part of where we are now as any man in the team. I don't think we'll struggle without him though, we'll just adapt and play differently.

Was Sturridge injured?

posted on 13/4/14

I don't think Sturridge was injured. I think Rodgers was making a tactical change having just conceded the 2nd goal. Sturridge always limos off when being subbed. Rodgers hasn't said anything so I reckon it was just tactical

Hamstring Injury:

If that's the case, Lucas and Moses will most likely come in

Apparently studge felt a bit of tightness in his hamstring and it will be assessed in the next couple of days. Just watched brendans press conference on lfctv

Don't need to risk him for the Norwich game, the usual Suarez hat-trick will do...

Will be a big miss if he's out. Don't think he's been at his best last couple of games but always capable of winning a match

Both Suarez (apart for the pass for the Sterling goal) and Sturridge had poor games today, IMO.

allen will come in taking sturridges place and front 3 of coutinho sterling suarez imo

Sturridge was poor today but he will be missed if we do lose him.

Suarez worried me today, he could have easily got a red card for two yellows and might have done with a other ref.

Chelsea coming up, the scene of his mad moment, and you can be sure Mourinho will have the Chelsea players winding him up all the time.

Shame for Hendo but Lucas and Allen are fresh so we shouldn't miss him too much.

ignore what I just saod, forgot hendo was banned maybe lucas with allen then

This is why we need another attacked this summer. Both Sturridge and Suarez have looked to be struggling a bit in the last few games.

Just a testament to the rest of the team who have stepped up with the goals.

I thought Allen was good and put himself about today so he's a dead cert for Norwich

I'm not surprised Suarez is looking tired. Sturridge looks tired mentally coz his decisions of late have been poor

posted on 13/4/14

It's got noting to do with tiredness and everything to do with pressure.

I for one will be rooting for you boys to win the league.
Rogers plays football how it should be played and not like that silly little club based in WEST LONDON with their cocky arrogant negative manager.

This time last year who'd have thought we would miss Henderson. Who'd have thought that a title was in sight. At least Gerrard is free from his yellows. The players may be tired but today's win and the fact that the finishing line is so close should give them enough energy

This is all set up for a iago aspas winner against Chelsea!
I've thought all along that he has some part to play and I think he will contribute "something"
