If he's so avoided go up then , super middle has plenty of names who would be more than happy to take him on

posted on 16/4/14

That's ridiculous logic. Why should he need to move up to get fights?

He's an average sized middleweight, he'll move back down to 160 after the Chavez fight, I think he's taking that fight for the money, it'll be his first big payday.

After what wlad has achieved, placing him below Golovkin is criminal.

posted on 16/4/14

And ward too, though he has achieved anything close to wlad yet. GGG would duck ward without a doubt!

Where was Ward in 97, 98? Ward's promoter is a problem, GGG's team don't do business with him. GGG is his own boss, Ward needs to be his own boss before we can make the fight. Ward turned GGG down on the phone when he offered Ward 50 quid and a packet of crisps, he missed his chance.

Which one of those excuses do you think GGG would use?

O & O your not making much sense and sounding a bit of an immature idiot TBH
So everyone should change for GGG??? i'm sure Geale's was a problem with his T.V deal and therefore a compromise should have been reached, that it wasn't is down to GGG not Geale.

All we've heard is GGG say they're ducking him, haven't seen any proof

Martinez I can agree with you with, he wants a couple of bigger fights before he retires.
I think Murray said the money wasn't good enough considering the showing against Martinez.
I think Quillin said he'd offered the fight a while back and GGG said no, GGG said the same etc etc etc.
I disagree with you about Geale but not enough that I can be bothered to go searching around the net for it

I don't think GGG has completely proven himself yet though but he is a cracking talent at the moment.

Saying 'the money isn't enough' is pathetic, Golovkin is hardly making millions himself. Have you ever heard Golovkin say the money isn't enough to fight someone?

Quillin himself said that he turned GGG down because he isn't a big enough name, yet he's spent his career fighting on undercards. He's a coward and a fraud. Always having digs at GGG and hiding behind the network barriers.

You don't disagree with me, you've realised I'm right and your ego won't allow you to admit it. You don't need to search for it, I'm telling you facts.

Not really, I think Golovkin knows Murray could have his number and intentionally priced him out of that fight.

Quillins got a genuine case that the networks won't let it happen -http://boxingnewsonline.net/latest/news/peter-quillin-willing-to-fight-gennady-golovkin-and-sergio-martinez- If the networks sort it out and he still says no, then your correct.

And Geale not fighting Golovking didn't happen cuase of some little UFC thing, it was because the network was showing their PPV and a week either side was offered and GGG rejected it - http://www.badlefthook.com/2014/2/5/5383918/daniel-geale-explains-why-he-didnt-accept-the-gennady-golovkin-fight-hbo-boxing-news

It can either be taken as half a dozen of one or the other, so take them knickers off and untwist them and be happy that your a fan of a very talented boxer who may have to do a bit more to show some of us that he deserves to be a great

Stop talking out of your backside.

Murray has come up with a number of excuses. He stopped talking about money and said he couldn't get a visa to fight in the US (not sure why), GGG said he'd fight him in the UK and Murray said talk to my promoter

Quillin turned GGG down before the network wars and now he's mugging him off and hiding behind it.

GGG doesn't decide the dates he fights on, use that little brain of yours. If GGG fought him a week later, it would be the same day as Floyd. Don't you think that would mean he gets less viewers...or are you not smart enough to work that out?

Geale turned the fight down and used some pathetic UFC excuse, completely irrelevant.

GGG's fighting dates are usually picked before his opponents, use some common sense.

For those wondering why I have my list the way it is, see the criteria I have stated in the opening post

Where was Ward in 97/98? What?

posted on 17/4/14

It's a classic Floyd excuse, SLS

posted on 17/4/14

@D4, I don't mind your list, i find these things objective and we can all make our excuses for our particular favourite fighters being at a certain number. Plus it tends to get everyone talking.

@O+O
Your talking out your arris, your letting GGG give the same excuses that your not allowing other fighters. At least show a bit of objectivity. As i said above you could use them excuses to say GGG is ducking as well.
It's well known Murray has visa issues (A problem in his youth,) and GGG never said he'd travel over here and has never mentioned it.

The reason you give for GGG not moving the date for Geale is the exact same reason Geale gave for not taking the fight. There was another event on that would have taken viewers away (as well as not allowing the fight to be shown by his contracted network that night).

Thanks, derbymanc8, I know my list is objective, based on the criteria that I had stated.

Many people's list though are subjective

posted on 17/4/14

derby manc, I I think you're re.tarded. I really do.

How can GGG be ducking when he's never turned down a fight?

A UFC event in the same week isn't the same as a boxing event on the same day. Do you not see the difference? It's not like the UFC fight would've been on the same day. If the fight was moved forward, it would be on the SAME DAY as Floyd's fight.

And would you st.fu and accept your mistake if I provide you with a link of GGG's side saying they'd fight Murray in UK?

posted on 17/4/14

Provide the link then. But your still wrong, the UFC event was the same day as GGG 'offered' Geale the fight.

Obviously he did this knowing Geale couldn't take it and is therefore ducking Geale.
