i would have a watermelon in charge over Tim
Mancini is alright manager. He's not top class but in terms of getting good domestic results he's not too bad. Spurs could do better than him though. But could also do a lot worse.

Would rather Tim than Mancini. We need a forward thinking manager. Mancini makes Jose look like a great entertaining coach.
Pochettino first choice for me. He pretty much said he wants the job too
pochettino is a massive risk. we need an experienced manager to change the poisonous mentality at the club, and not put up with any rubbish from our unprofessional playing staff.
Not my preferred choice, but I think he gets a raw deal in England. His achievements at man city aren't too dissimilar to what mourinho achieved at Real Madrid at the same time. Yet according to the British journo caaaants Mancini lost the dressing room with his behaviour, yet mourinho was the victim at Real Madrid
Mancini would surely sort out the shocking defence, and city did bang in about 85 goals in that title-winning season so he's not all that defensive
Pochetinno could well be what spurs need. With his philosophy he will want his own set of rules.
Pochettino is the closest thing to Rodgers/Martinez on the market. High intensity pressing game, young and hungry.
I see Van Gaal as a bigger risk. Great CV, but a bit of a nutter. Not sure how he'd work with Levy. Wouldn't be upset if he came, just a little anxious.
spurs don't have the personnel to play a high intensity pressing game !
if we want to play that game we need a whole new team.

Totally agree, was never liked by the press from day one and was never going to be!
He started off defensive but the season we won the league we were playing better football than anyone!
Not sure he would enjoy working under Levy tho to be honest, both to stubborn.

____________
Good. A proven winner should be allowed to have it his way (to a reasonable extent) as he's got the evidence to back it up. Levy can fack off of he wants a 'yes' man
LVG is just a successful version of Tim Sherwood. big faaacking ego, but actually has the qualifications and silverware to back it up.
Van gaal for me, although they are 2 completely different managers, pochechino (sp) would remind me of avb.
Totally agree with what chronic says re mentality.
yeah thats just it…. we tried the young new on the scene manager with AVB - it didnt work out in the end.
that said AVB did actually for a time get us at least looking solid, all be it at the expense of attacking threat.
sherwood has basically come in and undone all the defensive work, but got us attacking more.
we need a manager who knows what he is doing - and if the players don't like it, then one that isn't shy to tell them where to go.
its his way or the high way. and thats fine as he has the honours to back himself up.
spurs is too soft a club for one of these young project managers like brendan rodgers. i reckon rodgers would be doing nowhere near as well at spurs as he is doing at liverpool. at liverpool there is a winners mentality rooted deep into the club.
at spurs we have a bottling soft losers mentality, which only a really strong manager can sort out.
Avb was totally out of his depth. A total failure at Chelsea. Couldn't handle egos or the press. Negative tactician, incredibly stubborn and all round terrible appointment.
Don't let that failure cloud your judgement on young managers. Pochettino at Southampton really has a lot of similarities with Rodgers at Swansea. Really like his style.
Anybody seen back page of the sun tomorrow...apparently levy wants klopp! Can't believe people get paid to write this!
Oh and the only reason someone like Rodgers wouldn't succeed at Spurs is Levy. He probably would have sacked him in the summer for coming 7th
Levy's next appointment should be his last. If he ends up sacking the guy he should go to.

Oh ffs that's probably been lifted from the gossip on caught offside!
if we want to play that game we need a whole new team.
------------------------------------------------------------------
To be honest we already need half a new team anyway
Not a Mancini fan personally
I want Joachim Lowe
Stamps feet and slams door
The managerial merrygoround media bull is getting worse each season
Like we have any chance of getting Mankini, Klopp, LvG (to an extent)
Can't wait for
"Eriksen to Madrid"
"Capoou back to France"
I want Laurent Blanc and Damiao
<bringbackbongani>
Not that he isn't a good manager, I just don't want the reputation that will follow him here.
