Excuse me for being a bit pedantic (it is usual for me, though) and also excuse me if this has been covered before (haven't read all of the comments) but when do the bonus predictions have to be made.

I'm sure this has been covered CEF and you are going to point me to where, but hey ho, it wouldn't be me if I didn't jump in feet first.

Seems sensible that they should be made prior to the start of the competition, but if you enter all bonus predictions that is 80 of your 100 credits gone, and not a lot left to go through the group stages and the knockout.

If you can make the bonus predictions any time, then someone predicting just before kick off of the final might be at an advantage over those who predict early.

The 100 creds is for the 48 matches in the Tables above. The Bonus predictions have to be made before the first ball is kicked, but are only settled at the end of the whole competition. Hope this makes sense!!

Makes some sort of sense, because I think I keep likening it to real gambling, but I suppose in this competition, with monopoly money, even if you land up with a massive credit deficit it doesn't matter.

No, I didn't say the prize was monopoly money, I am saying the stakes are monopoly money.

The prize is the Admin/Site owner's way of keeping up interest in the site during the close season and therefore their earnings from the site up to expectations.

But in so doing, it does add a bit of extra buzz and excitement for those taking part. £300 is well worth winning in this day and age.
