Good question. Maybe there are still a few pre-takeover players on lower salaries.
Got the feeling these might not be that accurate.
Those Yankees and Dodgers ! !
I'd rather watch Aldershot and Stockport !
Only a few of the PSG players are very high earners (Silva, Zlatan, Cavani), most of them are around or below 100k a week.
The PSG takeover did happen in 2 phases, and they only took full control in 2012. I suppose players signed before then might still not have commanded such high salaries.
From that same site, this is another link I thought was interesting, on the subject of academies. United & Arsenal leagues ahead of anyone else in England in that respect:
