posted article a couple of months ago about the BBC Scotland news article on him, very sad
RIP Frank
It's just really sad news and a horrible illness for someone to suffer. 65 is no age at all these days. Really feel for the family who must have had to slowly see him slipping away from them for the last few years. I'm sure I read an interview with his wife recently when she said he does have good days every now and then but most days he barely remembers anyone. So sad.
I'm old enough to remember Frank Kopel and a fine player he was. He worked really hard at his game and was a fine sportsman and a very decent human being.
I'm truly saddened by this news.

RIP, Frank.
I remember the screamer he scored against Anderlecht to send United through to the next round of the UEFS Cup.

I have a friend who's dad is suffering from this, the changes in him over the last year are very sad.
It certainly puts things in perspective when something like this happens. A larger than life character that i know well passed away last week, he was 61.

RIP Frankie, I was lucky to have watched him play, loads of good memories, I met him a couple of times when he played and he was always a gentleman, condolences to his wife Amanda and his family.
Aye very sad news indeed, RIP Frank, condolences go out to the family.
