No fast bowling hero's perhaps?
Or
Their pitches don't help young fast bowlers?
It's a question that has been asked on 606 for years and years - no-one seems to know the answer.

Their pitches are no diffrent to pakistans, and to some extend sri lankas - both of these two teams seem to produce decent bowlers every few years.

Bit of a WUM but certainly an issue. India have many great batsmen although not showing it at the minute but not had the same success with bowlers.
More than decent left sided midfielders include Downing, Johnson, Young with more coming through

Ps - what was wrong with wilcox on the left wing.....

This article is in no way pathetic... Are you following this match?
"This is India's worst first hour with the ball on this tour. In previous Tests, their new-ball bowlers did something - got the ball to swing, beat the bat, had a few appeals, and even took some wickets. Today, they have done nothing noteworthy. England have strolled through this first hour. It's drinks, by the way."

Apart form Vaas I cant think of any other decent seamer that SL have produced.India are far better in that regard.
However Pakistan do produce quality fast bowlers..
It's just boring now... I'm not even wumming now but Bangladesh put up a bigger fight than India...
Crazy,
If i recall the bengalis made 382 in the first innings against england, something india have failed to do... also, the bengalis had a bowler called Shahadat, who caused all kind of problems and picked up 5 wickets for 98.... its a very good and fair point you make!!

But this is not just one test.. You have been completely outplayed in all areas plus you only just beat the West Indies...
It's a downward spiral for Indian cricket.

Only 30 Tests
Anyways thats just 2.India have had Kapil Dev,Srinath and Zak.
Suresh Raina has the ball, in the first session of a Test match. Epic scenes of Indian failure at The Oval
