Reflects on the whole set up, especially the other players

Why do so many players fail to thrive at Leeds ( before BM too)? Could it be because football is a team game?

I take your point 2020 but Sunderland are not a good team. Still he performs for them against far superior opposition than he saw in the championship. You might be right it could be the whole set up but the buck stops with the manager.

Scored 5 goals before tonight in 37 appereances.
Hardly prolific,
But agree, not surprising he didn't do well for us.
How ross, that a lot want to be sold, has scored so many is a credit to him.

With us we were trying 2 systems. 5-3-2 was one but we had no end product. The main culprit for that was Danny Pugh. A very useful player but he just couldn't rung a whole wing on his own and rarely got beyond midfield, to be fair, neither could Byram.

I remember watching us playing like that and I just couldn't see us getting a chance. Playing Wickham on the wing did not get the best out of Wickham no, but we actually looked like we may get an opportunity on goal. Both teams were poor yes, but it was worth playing Wickham out of position to get more out of the rest of the team

I don't think you can compare.....was he given goal scoring chances like that when playing for us? Doubt it....so it's kind of irrelevant. If he did, maybe he would have scored? Who knows.

One thing is for certain though....if you're playing for a Premier League team in a dogfight against relegation....or a Championship team you are on loan to in mid - table boring mediocrity......who do you run faster for???

On the few occasions that I saw Wickham play I thought he did well enough. I'm a little sick of tired of managers, past and present, bringing in players, loans and permanent, and then playing them out of position.

One of the largest squads but ostensibly offering little in terms of options.

Wickham would do well for Leeds as a striker. I'm only surprised that Butland hasn't yet been employed as a left back.

Buck stops with owners (previous in this case) hope

But agree BM did not get best from him

Plenty of similar examples before BM though, as well

I think the buck stops with the manager he was playing him out of postion no wingers for crosses Im surprised Smith has scored 10 considering the lack of service he has received we need fast wingers or crafty ones not Kebbie and the rabbit Stewart

When the Don ran the team, the buck stopped with him.

When Howard Sgt Wilko ran the team, the buck stopped with him.

When DOL ran the team the buck stopped with him.

When Wise and Poyet ran the team the buck stopped with them.

When Grayson ran the team the buck stopped with him.

Warnock, waste of space.

While BM runs the team the buck stops with him.

Isn't it about time some of you faced reality and stop making excuses for a man who has done us no good whatsoever.

Bad tactician, bad formations, players out of position, better (sort of) players not being played, bad subbing, bad signings, blames everyone and everything except himself and a bad manager / coach.

He knows how to use the sympathy card to get fans on side as well.

There is a reality, he's rubbish.

You scream for strikers, he doesn't deliver.

You scream for midfielders, he doesn't deliver.

You scream for wingers he delivers has beens and rubbish.

You scream for defenders, he doesn't deliver.

You scream for winning results, he doesn't deliver.

Since Cellino got involved we've had Butland and Wickham come in.

Cellino advises BM on Murphy and what happens, we win 2 nil against another poor side.

Cellino strips BM of the managership.

I detest GFH like everyone else, but BM ignored GFH's instructions in regards to the team sheets.

Cellino tried to help BM, BM tells Cellino to F Off, now he's crawling up Cellinos proverbial, and Cellino ain't blind.

Back then BM thought Cellino wouldn't get in, now he's changed his tune since Cellino took over.

Why is it the buck stops with every other manager / coach but not BM?

With respects, he's certainly got some of you fooled that's for sure; I can't wait for the next sympathy card.

"I detest GFH like everyone else, but BM ignored GFH's instructions in regards to the team sheets"

Are you seriously suggesting BM should've listened to GFH regarding team selection? You get worse

I'm not sure previous managers had quite the level of turmoil/interference behind the scenes that BM has endured the last few months. when it all went pete tong during the DOL days, it was publicity pete who took the missiles when results went south.

Funnily enough, before everything really started to kick off in early December, we were pretty high up the league. The team won matches and generally we were all a happy bunch of bunnies. We weren't brilliant, but we were winning for the most part. Many thought (from memory) that with a Jan transfer window we could add sufficiently to the squad to achieve the playoffs.

The above being said, the Jan recruits that he brought in haven't exactly set the world alight. A chance to prove themselves at a big club, and none have impressed. He needs to take some culpability for that.

I'm not surprised at all by results or performances of late. With all the nonsense in the background, BM has probably focused less than 30% on football and 70% on politics. I've said it before, he's been the only voice of information for the fans - no one in the boardroom provided any detail. Throughout it all he's remained pretty dignified, which I've respected.

I'm not convinced at all by Kebe, but do believe that BM needs a chance to manage again while the club isn't being hawked around. If he still doesn't get results, then it's time to go.

Ultimately it'll be down to MC how long he has. I've a feeling he'll give him a chance to build a team in the summer. if results are poor after that - he'll be out.

Of course the blame is on BM, I am not disputing that!

Tony Curry,

Are you so sick you have to attack what I do, boy, at least you know you couldn't get any lower.

Say hello to Gelding while ya down there.

GELDING, in Brail,

BM ignored GFH'S requests / orders in regards to team sheets, therefore, BM put his team out, his tactics, his formations, therefore he is responsible for our form and losses.

Can someone let me know if I wrote that in chinese,

Cheers Walsall,

Gelding does it on purpose, he likes to attack anything I say. All he does is advertise his lack of education.

I don't know, I can't read Chinese.

Caeser, with respects,

if ya going to use the so called turmoil to defend BM, then you have to do it for all the players too, after all, they are at the club too.
