How good do you think Wilson can be, TRS?

Thanks TRS, only seen highlights of him but he does look exciting.

Would be great to see him start our last game if there's nothing to play for.

Not a great deal happening at the moment.

United seeing plenty of possession but Norwich sitting deep with men behind the ball and and are proving difficult to break down.

15 minutes gone and still 0-0.

Rothwell with a bit of space on the edge of the area after Wilson dummied a pass from James just fluffed his attempt on goal and the keeper gathers.

We need to be patient, they are content to sit back and defend, fancy James Wilson to cut them open at some point. Note: if Wilson can get in the 1st team squad ( Newcastle A) Ben Pearson can't be far away from a call up.

Nice through ball into space from Rothwell to James out on the left who tries to find the underlapping run of Pereira but the pass was overhit.

Good chance for rothwell, scuffed his shot

Two best chances of the half have been presented to Rothwell but he's fluffed both opportunities.

His 2nd was a little closer to goal. Janko doing well in the build up to beat the LB for the first time and cut the ball back to Rothwell.

Frustrating 1st half, you'd have to say.

How's Charni doing these days at CB?

Ekangamene's been doing quite well of late at CB.

Quite a few pretty solid displays although hasn't really been tested all that much in some of the games.

He is one of my favourite players, quietly gets the job done as a DM. Or maybe its just me being biased because of the lack of quality in the first team midfield.

Missed McNair's brilliant run with the ball out from defence, linking up with Wilson near the half-way line ala Rooney and Ronaldo against Bolton but his final ball back to Wilson was mis-placed.

Nice idea from Pearson clipping a ball in behind to Rowley but he just couldn't take it under control and the GK eventually gathers.

Big blow for United as James Wilson comes off with an injury.

James Weir comes on in his place.

Doesn't look too serious.

Only an impact injury hopefully.

Pearson with a splitting pass finds Pereira who finds some space between the Norwich defence and midfield, moves forward and gets a decent strike away but the GK saves.

Pearson booked for the 2nd time in two games.

Janko having a pretty ineffective game so far despite creating our best chance of the game.

Pereira booked for what was a rugby tackle pretty much.

1-0 United.

James Weir with a vital goal. Tap in at the near post.

Replays showing the ball might've gone out of play in the lead up to United's goal.

Need to see a clearer replay.
