PFA Player of the Year Nominations

I've got to say they all seem fairly warranted this year although I'm not sure Lallana has been in the top 6 players in the league. Yes he's good, but not quite that level yet imo.

Suarez and Hazard to win them I think

POY - Suarez
YPOY - sturridge

Lallana is probably there because of his England call ups, but yeah I think there have been many better players better than him this season.

Suarez and Sterling should win. Young player should strictly be U21.

Good team Hengy, I'm surprised not to see Coleman in the young players list, thought he's been quality this season

agree on coleman hes been excellent.

But whats the actual cut off for young player of the year? 50 is right should be U21 only

TTID

could easily have sterling over Lallana tbf..

GK was a hard one as none of the top GK have been that good this season IMO and Marshall while playing for Cardiff has made some exceptional saves

Yes

Didn't realise Coleman was that age, defo too old to be considered for young player then in, I think 23 should be the max

I think the award should be for under 21s. Basically the players who do not need to be named in the 25 man squads.

I'm surprised Barkley is up for YPOTY.

Yes he has showed glimpses of brilliance but Jordan Henderson has got to be the most improved youngster in the league.

Rightly or wrongly, the they will change the personnel of the "Team of the Season" depending on who wins it, to avoid getting red-faced.

It seems the easiest thing in the world to pack it with Liverpool players. But if, on the last day, Chelsea win it, you'll see the FA recommending a load of CFC players.

Would look a little embarrassing to have a team full of players who won nowt.

Henderson is too old as well.

Not quite PenaltySpot. Arsenal in 07/8 had 3 in the team of season I think. Maybe they'll change a couple of players. Likes of Gerrard, Suarez and Sturridge are definitely going to be in there. Henderson may creep in if Liverpool win the league.

But Henderson was 23 at the start of the season...?

Aaron Ramsey has improved more than Henderson. Both were on pretty much the same level before the start of season.

I like Lallana. Always good to see someone outside the big teams on the list

Sterling should get young player but my guess is it will be the old man Sturridge...

Ramsey is in because they send the voting slips out in January, ridiculous I know,so he hadn't been injured long,so I expect he will win it!
