Back to the football. Was it me or were Doncaster awful? Derby need to play better than we did in the first half. If we don't we'll be out of sight in the first leg. Also, Bamford was shocking and why he kept him on for 50 mins, I haven't got a clue.

Just finishing off some Innis & Gunn original to celebrate so the head is spinning. Great result and I arrived at the station just in time to catch the delayed train home. Donny defended deep in the first half and frustrated us like Millwall did. Lucky to get the goal before half time which ruined Dockov's plan. Second half Ward and Bryson should have scored. Ward was the biggest threat when he came on. Bamford was in holiday mood and not in the game. Buxton and Hughes were the best players. Martin's goal was sublime. Unfortunately some Derby fans had consumed too much Vimto.

View, I'm just glad we've got Dawkins and Ward back. Let's just hope they make a difference in the play offs. A few of our players are looking tired.

I think we looked leggy in the first half, our front 3 had a bit of an off day today, part of that was Doncaster harrying us, denying us space and man marking our creative players, one possible reason why Thorne saw more of the ball than Bryson and Hughes. We looked very susceptible on the quick counter from the goalie (throws and kicks) this I think is one of the defensive flaws of a 4-3-3 - difficult to combat other than putting a man on the keeper, or not overlapping the full backs as much.

2 bits of quality decided it, Ward looked our best wide man today, Russell and Bamford had a tough game, hopefully it was a one off and we can get the tempo back and continue it throughout the play offs, maybe we were pacing ourselves today - dangerous game to play tho.

Guess we'll find out more on Monday.... UR
