Sunderland are surely staying up with this showing. Give him another full season see what he can do.

Didn't Spurs have a serious look at Wickham when he was at Ipswich ??

we have our own better version.

Yes but he chose Sunderland for some reason. Hengy, I'd give it just to Whickam on experience. A player who scores when it matters most must be worth a shout.

He prob chose Sunderland because he wouldn't of got a game for us.

I know it's not the main point of this article, but… You really think City have flattered to deceive? I don't.

Jalisco, they went from free scoring to one and no goal matches and to me that shows an inconsistency ;

Kane is better. Wickham is very average.

At the time we wanted him Hengy our forwards were just not scoring so I think he would have done.

Fair point, but it was always likely that City wouldn't maintain their free-scoring form. What's cost them for me is the fact that they lost a few away games early on in the season – games you wouldn't expect them to lose. Liverpool's late run would have counted for nothing had City won those games.

But that's football Jalisco, one team benefits from another team's mistakes. If we hadn't have lost to Norwich etc etc etc but we did and city lost those matches so if doesn't count.

Hello Bill

no-one tells me these things.
I think Connor Whickam was outstanding when he was playing under 18 etc, but some of that was due to him being taller an stronger than his peers, even though the lad is talented, he isnt much better than Kane

Ipswich and Sunderland aren't very good measures of a player's ability so give Whickham a bigger stage and I think he could do well oddiy, and hello. Confusing I know but we share the same account;

If anything the Manchester City Project has taken its foot off the gas since securing the Capital One Cup. Pellegrini is apparently expected to win five trophies in five years so he's still well on course for that.

posted on 19/4/14

He won't be there in a year's time let alone five.

Indeed! Rose was Sunderland's best player last season

Seriously though, Kane is looking better with every game, wouldn't want someone coming in and getting in the way of his development

Sell Ade and have kane,Soldado and Whickham.

Wickham needs time though and there's no guarantee Soldado will come good.. I'd rather an established player came in we can count on.. we'll have at least 100k in wages if we manage to shift Ade.
