The answer to the question is 'yes, of course we can do it' but the real question is, 'will we?' I doubt it, but with football you just never know.
Fair play to Sunderland today, they got a late penalty to even out Chelsea's late penalty against Albion earlier in the season. It's great to see it stuffed up Jose Mourinho. I hope he says it was a clear penalty to Sunderland!
Just a pity Albion don't benefit from any of it.

On paper we have not got much chance.
However the same was said of Wigan and Sunderland recently. City very low on confidence.
The big thing about today is that our team can now play in the knowledge that a defeat is not the end of the world. It might have been different had Cardiff and Fulham won today.

We need 3 or 4 points from the last 5 games. I can see them coming from West Ham and Sunderland.
Sunderland has often been a good ground for us.

Alouion, I really fancy us to win at Sunderland. Other than that, I'm not sticking my neck out! Certainly not for the home games against West Ham and Stoke.

Hi Aries - nice to hear from you.
Glad you agree about Sunderland - but one point from home fixtures against Stoke and West Ham is sticking my neck out?
I hope not or we will be going down!

Alouion, let's just say my confidence in our ability to close out and win home games is shot to bits at the moment. Yet somehow I really fancy us to win at Sunderland. Which means, of course, we'll lose there!

Just 400 WBA fans at the Etihad tonight.

Is Lugano starting a confirmation or an assumption?

Only 400 fans there tonight will make the club and fans look bad to people that don't understand the high ticket prices for tonight's game. It does show that the teams outside the top 6 won't be milked like cows with high tickets prices and hopefully other teams will follow our lead.

Lugano tweeted he's in the team.

I think we'll go with 3 CB's

Looks like a 4231 like the Spurs game with Sess behind Vydra to continue their good combination. Them 2 against Demichelis should be funny.

Against Spurs and Norwich, Vydra played more to the left but tonight I expect to see him more to the right side against Demichelis.

I think we could get a draw tonight.
