I can't see anything other than an everton win, united are pony with a small time manager
You can't say pony. Our fine defence is all of moyes making
United were always scared to death when they faced Big Dunc. Let`s hope Lukaku causes them similar concerns and puts a few away today.
what type of reception do you think moyes will/should get? i hope he doesn't get a frosty one.
Show your class Toffee's.
David did good things for Everton, gave you the stability you needed and left you in a far greater state than when he found you. Roberto has worked wonders this season and that is thanks to what he inherited.
If you can't cheer then it would be wrong to boo.

Dave deserves a good reception from the Everton fans for all he did for the club.
I'm not really a fan of his, but it'd be kicking a man while he's down and just disrespectful if he didn't get a good reception.
Hopefully it'll be a good game.
Replace everton with United
John Stones
what an odd response.

It was the way he pursued Fellaini and Baines, he soon forgot how he reacted with the Hughes/Lescott situation. Saying in the press they needed to move to continue developing.
How the crowd reacted on his departure against west ham will be the polar opposite today.
The new United boss is alleged to have said supporters of the Goodison club, where he was manager until last summer, were a “disgrace” for verbally abusing him during their side’s 1-0 victory at Old Trafford.

Hmmm
Fair enough. I don't think it was that bad but that's your prerogative.

It's very common for managers leaving one club for a bigger one to go back and get the players he unearthed and moulded, players he believes he can trust.
It's the hypocrisy in the way he did it
He spent years at everton blasting every rich club for bidding and then did the same
He also implied that United would be a huge step up for them, if this season is anything to go by then it most certainly isn't

Yet how is it any different to Everton taking players off of poorer clubs while he was in charge?
Of course he's going to whine about richer clubs taking his players, as any other manager in the game does.
But they're hardly going to stand by some sort of imaginary principles when they're in a position to do that to any other team.
Moyes is right, though, it would be a huge step up and this is one of the things Fellaini is struggling with because the expectation and pressure of playing for United is so much bigger than Everton.
It was a huge step up for him himself, and a step up he's struggling with. The league table doesn't really change that, especially as if he and Fellaini cannot cope with the step up they'll be off.
Not sure what he's really done wrong there.
Fellaini isn't struggling with the "step up" he's struggling because he's playing in midfield rather than behind the striker
Moyes never persued players in the media when trying to get them as Everton boss.
Using the media to try and pressure a sale of Baines and Fellaini is a reason why he is not popular. Especially after Le
The bloke looks like a nervous wreck as well, that's because of the magnitude of the task he's been given - to come in and solve our midfield problems.
He was never this bad playing in midfield for Everton.
I don't know why there's all this talk about Moyes buying Everton players it happens all the time with managers leaving old clubs and buying players they know well from their previous clubs, whether you like it or not in my opinion Man Utd is a step up from Everton and most people would admit that if they were being honest as to why Moyes left to go there in the first place, he wanted to buy these players because he felt they were now good enough to take the next step up like he did, to be fair to him he also played a big part in these players development over the last few years, anyway didn't Martinez not buy a few of Wigan's best players before this season, double standards I feel? Anyway I don't know why it's a problem Moyes has helped your progress this season by overspending on Felliani which in turn has helped Martinez get the players in he has.
Martinez never used the media as Moyes and Hughes did to try to force moves. Thats double standards on the part of Moyes, especially after the Lescott saga.
Personally I never really had a problem with moyes wanting are players. He moved to a new club and from that moment he had uniteds best interest in mind not Everton's. What annoyed me more was the fact he had agreed to be united new manager while still acting as if he might sign a new contract with us. David moyes did a decent job while here but not really been missed
Everton was and is still a bigger club than man united. That is only my honest opinion.
A proper club with a good fanbase and hope they get fourth.
