Has he had an injury plagued career or you just going on six months? The majority of the time for a fracture after all.
Can still get onto page, but isn't on the Main site without the link
Maybe they have had a telling off from Fawaz.
Great news though, he is a crucial player in the DM role
We have never lost a game when Vaughan has played as well
There we go!

I am delighted to confirm David Vaughan has agreed a permanent move to #NFFC from 1 July.
When we signed him back there was rumour he had injured his knee and one article talked about him being the sort of player we want for the future of the squad. It must have been somewhat for last few games then following season. The timing of this seems to be roughly where you could sign pre contract.
I'm fairly pleased about this
He is a very good player and is exactly what we need and have been missing since Mckenna.
I think this type of approach is going to become much more common. We tried it with Hobbs but failed because of Steve Bruce. I believe Fox was a view to a permanent type loan. Djebbour seems to be a try before you buy deal
He does the ugly stuff well and links up player. Over the years a quality midfielder of his type has made all the difference. There was Bowyer in Sir Brian's days and as you say McKenna in more recent years. Some fans don't always appreciate what they do but the difference when they play shouldn't be scoffed at
Fox I think has a lot of talent but lacks a bit of confidence. he did play a lot better yesterday then I have seen him recently and I think with confidence he could be very good.
With the rumours about Djebbour, I would probably not buy and use the money towards a tried and tested goalscorer. Say go all out for someone like McCormack or Rhodes.
Surprisingly would give Derbyshire a new contract, he played really well yesterday I thought and has scored 7 in 8 starting appearances.
He could prove to be a very important signing as long as his time on the pitch is carefully managed. He can mentor Osborn who will learn only good things from.
He is the calibre of player that is difficult to attract to a Championship club, so good, as long as we don't expect him to play 90 minutes twice a week for example.
Excellent news .
Even looks ever so slightly Bowyer-esque.
Very good player when he is fit but -
1. Why is Fawaz making signings before SP starts his job? I thought he wasn't going to interfere in team affairs. Milan Mandaric used to do this at Leicester
2. He's 31 and just come back from a fracture. Wouldn't it be better for Fawaz to wait until the summer and judge his long term fitness prospects
I don't mean to rain on any parade, but I just can't understand why Fawaz just doesnt sort out the more pressing affairs of Forest - like a CEO and leave player signings for Pearce and co who will have the summer to build the squad he wants.
Anyway, I think you can still get into the play offs, and if you do, who knows what could happen because with Reid and Lansbury back, you may cause a big upset. Stranger things have happened
Yes he has, two year deal. Blackstarr I would suggest deal was informally agreed on resigning him and it would surprise me if it wasn't ran past SP before formalising. Unless you know something we don't?
Reid is likely to be out for the remainder of the season btw. Lansbury was unavailable yesterday and is unclear when he'll be back at the moment. Sounds like it may just be a niggle though
Ray, well we do know Fawaz has previous on the signings front, not least re-signing Vaughn on loan at the end of Jan after only 6 appearances for Forest and rumours of a crocked knee. Would have been wiser to target other midfield loan signings at the time. Add that to the Boyd debacle and the insistence of playing Abdoun more often and you can't blame me for being a bit skeptical.
The reason I would be surprised that its been run past Pearce is because he's only played about 50 mins since Pearce agreed to take over the job. Unless SP has seen something in that time to sanction a permanent deal before he even starts the job and assesses the squad?
It was a fracture BS rather than muscle related, as such surely less risk. How do you know we wasn't targeting other players? If not, maybe that was Billy's choice. You also need to remember SP has been around the game for a bit and probably done a fair punt of homework on current players to date. It's not as if they all are going to be brand new to him at the point of the announcement.
There is a few contract decisions to be made and if the club doesn't conclude those then players that may be wanted would go elsewhere.
I'm not saying that this is definitive but there is too much assumption that goes on
Agreed, theres a lot of assumptions here. We don't know whose signing this ultimately is, but we can be fairly confident that Fawaz gets involved in the transfer side of things from time to time and I just get the feeling this will be driven from him - obviously that could be wrong.
I just hope he leaves SP well alone to get on with the task at hand and shape a squad in his image so to speak
I'm going in what SP has said about looking at who we have, who we need etc. It had been suggested that he's thorough and that Brazil is his eyes and ears in the dressing room. He's also had a lot of time going around clubs and would have an idea about players like Vaughan anyway.
As for him being injury prone he seems to have played a good chunk season to season in his stats. So that seems to be only be based on last few months and surely a knee fracture isn't likely to be a "prone" style injury anyway
I don't think SP would turn Vaughan down as a signing but this was most likely sorted out when he re-signed on loan.
I would think Pearce has ratified this signing S he has been well involved at the club already and has been in constant communication with Brazil and co. A fair amount of continuity will be required and as Pearce doesn't officially start till July, a few signings and departures may occur before then as things cannot wait till then.
The jury is still out on Fox for me. Looks shorn of confidence and likes to dive into tackles. I'll cut him some slack as he has apparently been having troubles off the field but from what I have seen he is marginally better than Harding.
He was decent yesterday Will
It was always said that Pearce would be involved from a distance before starting properly in July.
I reckon we should sign Darren Anderton.
If anyone can turn one or two of players into left backs.......
