Hope you guys get 4th. Performances this year deserve it. Plus it's be nice if you took points off city

Do you drink a lot before and after the game or what. I have no idea where you sit at games but how you can class that as a poor performance is beyond me. I thought we were superb. What Roberto did was cater for the other team having a lot of possession. The fact is we could very easily have won that game by 3 or 4 nil. I don't like disagreeing with you but you really need to revisit your definitions.

Kiss my hairy hoop you clown. We have had less possesion in this game.yhan any otherican recall. Barkley should have been replaced. Why did a team with such a poor midfied boss the game?

Everton will get 4th, Arsenal are big time bottlers. Hull will beat them in the cup final as well.

We hadn't had a game for 10 days. You lot had played 3 games in 8 days.

That was a big factor in us having more possession.

We did nothing with it all anyway. Barely had a shot.

Very intelligent and witty come back. So you watch TV for the stats. Yes Barkley did have a bad one (by his standards) and yes Utd had possession but so what. Both our fullbacks ran at Utd at will, Naismith could have had at least 2. The Team played superbly on the counter attack and our defence rendered Utd practically toothless. It is what you do with the possession that matters. Rather different being there and watching. You clown.

Martinez masterminded that victory and the players executed it superbly. Ok Barkley had an off game but that's why he was replaced with Ossie. I think Martisbigeyes is spot on in his comments, Everton played really well and could have scored more - as the stats show.

Ah the old ' youwere watching on tv' line. I expect better from an Evertonian.
This coming from the man who cant turn his head to the big screen when play is at the park end

I was watching on TV and we were definitely the better side, as Martin said possession is useless if you do nothing with it, United came up against a brick wall and couldn't cope with our quick counters

Most of United's possession was 30 yards or more from our goal in non threatening areas. They looked devoid of ideas.pace, threat and confidence.

Martinez had his tactics spot on,sit back let United tippy tap it around until they made a mistake and then hit them with pace.

We did to United what Palace did to us 4 days earlier.I like you Arouna said Palace would be a difficult game as they are the type of team we struggle against.A team that packs the defence and attack with pace,we had the further misfortune against them that they were so clinical against us.

If we were as clinical against United we would have put 4 or 5 past them with ease.Martinez proved again that he is tactically astute.

Unbelievable observations from the O.P.
I am inclined to believe that he is so full of his own self importance that if anyone dares to disagree with his opinions, irrespective of whom they support, that they are considered by him, to be "Hairy Hoop Devotees".
Surprise surprise; He did not mention Lukaku his latest target.
I wonder why he likes to monopolise this Board yet derides the views of others.
Is it no wonder that so many True Blues have deserted our Board this season.Like me, they have probably had enough of his pompous attitude and innapropriate comments.

We were far from poor yesterday & like others have said having more possession doesn't mean you're the Better team as the Mancs did nothing with it.

posted on 21/4/14

A 2-0 win against the mancs after a poor performance against palace is just what was needed, we did what was required to keep the pressure on our rivals.

Remember earlier on in the season we were moaning about having most of possession in games but having no cutting edge, Give me goals over possession every game...

certainly wasn;t our greatest performance. Naismith really impressing me at the moment. making those runs creating chances for himself. should have scored at least 1.

Silky. Grow up chap, I have my opinions and I will defend them.

You are not forced to read or comment on them.

I have been critical of a striker who is rated at £20m, yet is being shown he lacks the intelligence of a player who came in on free transfer from a bankrupt Rangers.

Yet full of praise when other were critical of Stones and his lack of 'positional sense'

Identified early doors that the only thing missing from McCarthys game is goals and that Baines apparent drop in form was due to the natural balance of the side.

But you keep up this agenda dear fellow

Arouna.

What's lukaku's season been like.? Any chance you could sum it up...

Hit and miss.

I know he is young and learning, but I expected more. This could be that he has played a lone role and been our only real striker all season (some blame can be placed on Martinez as he sometimes ran the legs off the lad)
He seems to have a good understanding with Barkley and Naismith and I am sure if he does sign he will learn a lot from Duncan Ferguson on how to play the loan role/use his natural strength to protect the ball better.

I would give him a 7/10 due to his selfless running off the ball in the first half of the season.

My fear is he will be another Benteke, never getting enough goals
