Moyes is justifying our defeat yesterday by arguing that we were the better team. Must be nice being so delusional.
Moyes is Rooneys little bi*tch.
Rested? Probably not, Rooney is usually up for an Everton game. However I will agree he should have been subbed off... Moyes just doesn't have any balls... Simple as.
He was terrible. Shouldve been subbed at half time. Moyes cannot change a game or make tough calls. I thought he was selected because he would be a carbon copy of Fergie and impose himself.
Must be the longest article ever, but no as all the talk would have been about why he didnt play
Completely agree with this article. I feel Rooney is regressing rapidly as a footballer.
I do worry, though... What's it going to take for the club to make the right decision and send Moyes on his way. We could end up losing RVP, Welbeck, Hernandez and Kagawa and being stuck with Fellaini, Rooney, Fletcher and the uninspiring and unexperienced back room staff to lead us to glory.
Is he going to get another year to 'try' set things right or is it going to take a classless Chelsea style 'mass kicking off' for them to realise he's the wrong choice and taking us backwards?
I was gutted when I didn't see his grey, expressionless face on the BBC Sport homepage today announcing his departure.
Postman.
For real? I think most of us thought he was out for the season with that toe injury.
Its not like we HAD to win yesterday. Top 4 has been a pipe dream for weeks and I would of thought that Moyes would have picked either Hernandez or Welbeck yesterday tbh.
Bmad
Cheers fella
Glad you agree.
did not read the entire article but I sort of agree with the first few line
Moyes does things for short term impact, regardless of the long term consequences
playing an injured rvp
continually thrusting cleverley into the spot light for more criticism rather than protecting the player
did the same smalling at rb, and now playing rooney to save his own hide despite all indications he is not back to peak form
What worries me the most is that RvP is a better number 9 than Rooney, but due to Rooney's new deal and the glaring need to sacrifice either one to improve as a team, it puts Rooney in an untouchable position. He can't be dropped and seems exempt from being dropped when in poor form or carrying an injury. At least Fergie had the balls to do this.

Have you finally come round Flash old buddy, old pal?
Always got love for my homeboy Marlo.
Well put Article Young'Un...couldn't agree more, about the Rooney False 9/10 Striker whateva the hell he's supposed to be doing.i wrote something similar today.
Even Rooney has to look in the mirror, (albeit for not too long), but look in the mirror, and say, what was my best season for UTD?
Was it when he concentrated on being just a striker?
who told him, he's a baller? A man's got to know his limitations... Kagawa he ain't!!
Rested? life just one rest for gammy toes
Not sure about resting him but theres some other very good points in the article
Being an Arsenal supporter I'm obviously on the outside looking in but the points raised in the OP particularly about Rooney in a strange way holding you back are exactly what I see to.
If Moyes (who shouldn't be United manager IMO) wants to turn things around he needs to play to the majority of his players strengths and I just don't see where Rooney fits in your strongest 11. As a number 9 certainly not, nowhere near disciplined enough. A number 10, marginally better but still not disciplined enough and Kagawa and Mata are better number 10s.
Sell him, ship out Moyes and start a fresh and good things will come IMO.
Dr Cunni & Mr Lingus
My thoughts exactly mate. He is neither a specialist number 10 or 9 any more which is a damn shame but the harsh truth nevertheless.
Yooooo string, You know I got mad love for you too.
Glad you appreciate how dope this article is haha.
