If Moyes had resigned he would not have been the man I thought he is

He has kept to the best of his ability his dignity throughout this season, I was maybe insulated because I fully expected a season or 2 of transition and nothing has happened to change my mind, no quick fix imo

Rob, you insulted anyone that questioned the manager saying they're impatient and narrow minded and can't see the long term vision of the club and you're glad that you can see the club support the manager and can see what he's trying to do.

This holier than though cliche makes you look like a right twaaat seeing as it looks as if this long term view the club can see isn't there either.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It went both ways but once again, you miss the point.

This isn't about me. I just hoped that some people on here wouldn't act like the stereotypical graceless football fans now they've gotten what they've wanted.

Do you genuinely think Moyes should be mocked and castigated until his name is never going to be spoken of again? Or do you see a nice guy who tried his hardest but ultimately wasn't good enough?

Mate, I have no issues with your point of view and respect it.

I can however understand those who are giddy with excitement about it

It would be hysterical if this is NOT true!!

Got to agree with you there Robb.

We shouldn't be celebrating this. We should be looking to the future and we should be thanking David Moyes for doing his best.

Hope he recovers from this and goes on to find success elsewhere.

Waffle, waffle, waffle

Wrong again, you break as many records as Moyes

One thing worth mentioning, today United has finally turned into a modern football club. We're going to go through managerial cycles every 3/4 years just like any other club. Gone are the days of Busby and Ferguson type tenures

Exactly. Maybe i'm asking for too much but i'd have hoped our fans could just move on rather than act like they've just liberated a city.

We shouldn't celebrate the imminent departure of a man that has done a horrible job at our club?

MUDD, fair enough, I understand after all the years of winning we have had it must be tough for fans to swallow this season, I am old enough to remember getting all giddy when we made an FA cup final and not even expecting to win it

And as usual a Live Thread on the United board devolves into petty bickering and insults. Good job.

Very obvious what game is being played here by Man Utd. They want Moyes to resign, for $ reasons. Shabby way to do it, imo.

Not about trophies for me mate, grew up in the 80s, I do appreciate good football and support our players.

The way Moyes has made people turn on our players is criminal

To be fair to the guy, he gave up what was probably a job for life to join Utd. Now he joins the managerial merry go round...

People can be pleased in looking forward with the club but remember he is human too.
