A journo tweeted earlier on that United are waiting until Moyes resigns rather than sacking him. Putting out a story like this could make Moyes just resign but I doubt it.

That's what the clubs want. For the manager to resign. Some do. Some dont. Tan wanted Malkay to resign and he didnt. He waited til he got sacked.
