Manchester United are preparing to sack David Moyes. The Glazer family have been horrified by the extent of United’s dramatic decline and are ready to cut their losses less than ten months after Moyes replaced Sir Alex Ferguson as manager.

Horrified? That isn't even the start of it, they took their time as well. 4 months too late.

This is a pathetic decision by Manchester United. I thought they were a proper club.

I have been saying for ages we'll find out if Moyes will be here next season the moment we can't mathematically qualify for Champs League. Looks like he did have minimum requirements in his contract. Would be ludicrous if he didn't.

He was a candidate when Fergie was around, but I don't think he will be a massive improvement. Plus he just signed a new contract with PSG last night. We need a more proven manager, I'd love Carlo Ancelotti to have been available.

I am about to read the comments but when i saw your post, my heart stopped and I got so excited and then i checked bbc sport and there is nothing on him being sacked. Sigh

What happens when United release a statement saying:

'David Moyes has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect. Steve Round will take charge of the team for the remainder of the season, with a view to taking the job permanently'.

Arab. I reckon Moyes activated a clause yesterday the moment he couldn't qualify for CL. And that clause allows him to be sacked on the cheap. That's why I reckon he's been employed this long
