The people in the title of this article sound like members of the legion of doom.

I wouldn't trust them to look after a cat let alone give them congratulations for anything.

Moyes in oooo wait sit down robb.

Is it really okay etiquette to name drop yourself in the title of your article?

Anyway, Moyes was out of his depth and fully deserved his sacking. This morning is my highlight of the season by some distance. Says it all.

I think this has reached a new low

I read a lot of the stuff on here since yesterday and rarely, if ever, have I heard as much childish pash as I have since then

I have slagged the gooners for their kiddie like posting but by fack this is just as poor

Let it go and discuss the football rather than childish point scoring

People changed their minds based on the evidence which unfolded in front of them. Moyes was given a fair crack by the club, and most of the fans. He didn't deliver. Congratulating others for holding an opinion seems a bit odd.

I agree with you Robb. The people mentioned in the title know very little about football & certainly are not Utd fans. Wait till the next manager fails, they'll change their names & start all over again!

The thing is some folks always gonna be keen to call a half eaten meatball sub a 5 star 3 course meal. I prefer to call it a half eaten meatball sub tbh.

Can I just state for the record that I wanted and hoped Moyes succeeded for the good of himself AND Manchester United.

I was all for giving Moyes time to get it right, but I changed my opinion around New Year, when it became abundantly clear he was never going to get it right.

Good luck for the future Moysie, but you never had it in you to manage Utd

So Woodward gave him the bullet, is Woodward big enough to turn the gun on himself?

You see, this is the sort of thing that irritates me. You haven't directly said it but you've very strongly implied that how good a supporter you are can be based on how much you back the manager. Absolute nonsense. He was out of his depth and anyone who wanted him gone did so with ample reason.

The OP sounds like he's celebrating the fact the guy failed which is sad to be honest.

This is a stupid thread. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and I hate the whole 'I told you so' mentality. Who cares if some people thought he wasn't the right man from the beginning?

Would you be congratulating everyone that thought he would succeed if he did? I'd hope not.

They are just opinions, everyone had theirs when he was appointed. Some reasoned argument, some just from the school of computer games and want i all now generation.
Moyes was incredibly well supported by United fans at all the games and I am sure he will acknowledge that. In the end he just wasn't good enough. I am guessing that a top four finish would have kept him in a job until next season and that seemed to have been the minimum requirement.
I maintained for quite some time that he should get the summer and say 10 games in to next season but it did become apparent that things were not improving at all
and it's everyone's perogative (including the owners ) to change their minds.
This point scoring, told you so mentality is very tiresome and childish and there are a few culprits here !!
