I'm a season ticker holder at Everton, you're not best placed to say whether Barekley is over-rated, he looked quite good in the 3-0 mauling btw
Sterling's not had a bad game in 2014 And is currently arguably the most in form player in the league, name another player who has performed as well and consistently as Sterling that is under the age of 23?
Maybe Luke Shaw but I can't think of another.
He's being hyped up as he's English in a world cup year but he has been top notch in recent weeks especially, he was every bit as good in the first half v City as Silva was in the second half of that game.
You can talk.
Wasnt Jack Wilshere once the young talent Messi would have aspired to be like?

Lukaku
Townsend?
Or doesn't he count now everyone has realised he's shiiite?
He was never good
Scored one lucky goal for England and he was hailed the next Bale.
they are 3 top class young players, they're not being overrated, Sterling has been a lot more consistant in 2014 and the other do have done really well too.
I can't agree with you on this OP.
Their youngsters - of course they will be inconsistent
If they were consistent at such a young age, they would already be amongst the best in the league
Sterling is top class. Best english youngster in a long time along with shaw. The other 2 have been slightly overrated but not bad players
I'll take note of your thoughts, Arsenal fans must be experts in overrated youngsters after all.

To be fair Bale's whole move to Madrid was on the basis of half a season of free kicks where the ball bounced over the goal keeper.
Honest opinion, fans of Man Utd, Liverpool & Everton:
Would you say Adnan, Sterling or Barkley is a better footballer than the Ox?
No right or wrong answers, just interested in your opinions.
Ox is 20, Sterling 19, Barkley is 20 & Adnan is 19.
So all are more or less in the same age bracket.

HUNTING FOR GLORY (U16317)
I'd say on current form (and with some good old Liverpool bias) Sterling is the top of the lot. His game has come on 10 fold this season. He's played as well as anyone in our side in 2014 and I do mean anyone.
Barkley from what I've seen is very good but needs to reign his ego in a little and play for the team.
Difficult judging the players at this young age because form fluctuates.
Sterling is the player in the best form, but in my opinion Adnan has the most talent of the four.
Ox has been out injured and has come back into an underperforming team so it's difficult to judge where he's at, similarly Adnan has been a better performer in an underperforming team so his form isn't going to be at the level it could be.
At the moment I'd say Sterling is the best, for sure, but things can change so quickly as he himself has shown as he was nowhere near this good last season.

I see you're living up to your name
Only joking
i obviously disagree, Sterling is definitely the man on form, but overall i think Ox edges it, stronger, just as quick, brilliant technique, and hell of a shot, but im ofcourse biased too
The Ox would look a much better player if he was at Liverpool. I'm talking top class.
Sterling I had written off as a speed merchant with not much else to his game and a lack of footballing intelligence... (think Walcott but better)
However I was wrong, he vision and passing ability is improving all the time and has been very good in recent weeks
I think Ox has stalled in his development but young players go through that. Sterling stalled pretty much until the turn of the year and has jumped forward since. He still needs to work on his finishing, I know he scored a cracker at the weekend but too often on one on ones I've seen him tickle the ball straight at the keeper. Certainly the big gap in his armour at the moment.
I've not seen much of Adnan other than the game against us where he was Uniteds liveliest player but didnt do an awful lot. But that could have been down to a lack of support as much as anything else.
I think we can all accept that of the 4 players Adnan is definitely the most over rated.
To think people were trying to get him to play for England
Nah Barkley is the most overrated.
Adnan was getting hyped up really bad at the start of the season as he was a bright light in a shiite team, but the hype has died down since Mata came in and he started playing less.
9 goals and 4 assists in 21 starts.. pathetic.
will he still be over-rated when he's England Captain & a regular international?
