Good job. Will be down there from about 7.30 myself. If you need any help with directions or public transport and the like, let me know

we've been there before but may take you up on that.. we'll be heading up from a hotel in Copley square (cheapest central at very short notice) to attempt to get there for 8 I hope! look out for a bloke who's a Brit and Liverpool and a bird who's American and Chelsea!
Easy journey to the Landing then. $2.50 per trip on the subway so $5 per person. Copley station Green line inbound for about 2 or 3 stops. Change at Park St (americas first subway station) onto the red line outbound to Alewife. Get off after another 3 stops at Central Sq and it's a 2 minute walk. When you come above ground at central you'll be on Mass Ave. we are st 512 mass ave. if you see a place called The Middle East you've gone 100yds too far but are on the right side of the road. If you see a place called Tavern on the Square you've went the wrong direction after coming out of the subway
Btw, when u walk in the bar, go to the far end of the bar on the left and ask for Michael. Or at least look out for an old balding fat Irishman in a black LFC hoodie and ill sort you out with cheap lager deals
Actually scrap that. You may wanna drag that wifey there as early as possible

thanks for that.. we'll attempt to get there early, but so much flying 3500 miles to be at a place where the atmosphere would be cracking as an alternative to the uk
any alternative ideas? obviously Dorchester is not viable..
The landing is the only place I watch football here. The pub holds 150 people. There are about 120 lfc Boston members. Probably about 80-100 will be able to get there, so there'll be room for non members, so just get there as early as possible. The banter in the line outside at 7am-ish will tide you over.
There's another pub just a 2 minute walk away that usually shows games and a lot of the overflow from the landing would go there. It's called The Field, but I have no idea if it'll be open. It doesnt have a lot of tvs though. However here's a link to bars that show football here so maybe you can call them.

My advice....leave the hotel at 6.30. Get a taxi. Probably about $15. Then queue and enjoy the game.
