We have sme brilliant moments but overall our football has been terrible this season

It's been frustrating because we've lacked cutting edge at times due to no top striker and Ramsey & Theo's absence but we still play classy football and are simply the best at it in the league

OP I'm sure you will enjoy your great team goals just as much as one of Liverpool/Man City / Chelsea enjoy the winning the league title.

People say we play the best football alongside City because of the quality of our strikeforce and the way our front four run at defenders. I enjoy Tiki Taka but Arsenal do it in the middle of the field without any conviction going forward. You lack a goalscorer who makes runs in behind and this is why I don't understand the Giroud signing. He has no good pace and is a bloke who is suited to a game where the team takes a more aerial route see his goal against West Ham. He'll score 15-20 goals a season but most from a flick on or a cut back but will never really outsprint a defender.

People would much rather watch the likes of Aguero, Sturridge and Sterling running at defenders causing them problems than watching Arsenal's at times poor tippy tappy triangles in the middle of the field. Walcott and Ramsey have clealry been a big miss for you guys due to the directness and pace they provide but to suggest you play the best football in the league in my opinion is open to interpretation.

Arsenal haven't played the best football in England for years.

Liverpool and City play far better football than Arsenal. I find Arsenal pretty boring to watch nowadays, that never used to be the case.

We play the best attacking football, as our goals tally clearly shows. City follow as they have the second most goals scored. And you don't even make top three, with Mou's "negative" football coming in at third place. Funnily enough, you'd be third if Chelsea didn't score six past you recently.

You may have some good tiki-taka goals sometimes and yes your midfield is a joy to behold on it's day (really enjoyed Ramseys lay off the Podolski in the Hull game) but to say you play the best football in the league is, well, wrong.

We haven't played great football for the last few years to be honest. We've had great moments i.e. the goals vs Norwich, Sunderland this year, but sides like Liverpool, City, Everton and Southampton play demonstrably more attractive football.

Arsenal excel at certain parts of the game and fail at others.

When fit (rarely) and on song, Arsenal do produce some breathtaking stuff and do certain things at an extremely high level.

But if you fail at other parts of the game then it's all for nothing im afraid

That doesn't mean chelsea play best footy.

Our football has been very boring for the last two seasons.

We've had the occasional good game but are someway behind.
1. Liverpool
2. Southampton
3. Everton
4. Man City

Southampton's football is the most overrated in the premier league, even more than Swansea's.

I don't think there's much in it between Arsenal, City and Liverpool with regards to the silkiest football.

It's the other parts of the game that have seen Arsenal Slip behind (10 points off the top is significant but it only equates to 4 results)

I respect arsenal's approach, but there are deficiencies that need to be addressed.

Agree with the OP Arsenal play the best football in the league. they also have the best player in the league, the best manager...

We are decent to watch but a bit dull.

Sorry, but our football is quite ordinary for the vast majority of the time. Sad, but true !

Arsenal have been playing quality football for 18 years and all we get is rival fans mocking us for not winning a trophy. Liverpool play good football for half a season and they are the new barca according to rival fans

Well at least there are a few honest Arsenal fans out there like the Gooner etc...ordinary alot of the time

Call it envy. As soon as another team strung together some decent attacking displays people were always going to rush to place them above us.

Like I said when those teams can produce the 1 touch team goals we have this season come back to me. We've mastered fluent football

Arsenal struggle to play good football against a decent team, normally when they try they get spanked. What's the point of being Barcelona to the minnows, yet always losing out to the big boys?
