I would ask why we entertain these ideas that we know aren't true and just made up by papers that we all forget about the next day and yet believe the new story we see tomorrow
Penguin... Stranger things have happened RVP to UTD. Bale for 85m... football is crazy!
I'd easily make the swap. I love Ozil, but I rate Cesc higher. In this team, Cesc would score more, assist more and pull the strings in midfield better than Ozil is doing.
We should not take anybody that has Barca blood inside. When Barca calls, this kind of players always leave.
Cesc is a he only player in the world I'd swap Ozil for
Cesc would be better in this team.
You clearly have an issue with Ozil and Giroud in the same team as their games don't suit each other. I imagine you'd get a more complimentary striker for Ozil, however, said striker would compliment Cesc even better plus if Giroud does come into the squad I think he'd work better off of Giroud than Ozil does as he makes better runs and is a better goal scorer.
It'd make you an overall stronger team.
I doubt the rumours about Ozil to Barca are true, though, because like Cesc he just wouldn't really fit at Barca.
Bringing Cesc back kills 1 of Jack & Rambo at least Ozil can play out wide and has a point to prove still, should keep him and hope Cesc joins Pep in Germany .
Ozil still has a soft spot for Madrid so this won't happen.
We're not a facking selling club anymore. Ozil is our jewel in the crown. He stays. If Cesc is available we go for him.
Cesc in and Santi out maybe we could be onto something 1 playmaker will have to pave the way

In todays world $$$ > soft spots
When we learn we need a squad of quality and bringing back Cesc would allow us to ease out the likes of Rosicky who can't go on forever.
Ramsey
Walcott Cesc Ozil Carzola/Poldi
Flamini
Ox Rosicky/Arteta Wilshere Poldi/Carzola
Decent midfield options if you ask me.
Need to get rid of fringe players instead of our first team ones
Actually give them Ozil and see if they'll give us Messi, he needs a change and that's the least they can do for the way they've treated us in recent history.

You guys seem to fancy your chances with Messi don't see why a stronger club in Arsenal can't snap him up on that basis
Messi would love to play at a club that plays the right brand of football and admitted would be a hell of an achievement if he could make a very good club great. The missing piece to Wenger's project. If he got us the CL the Messi-Ronaldo comparisons will be put to bed forever............. he told me this
Ozil for cesc, you having a laugh, ozil is far superior to the traitor
Take both, why give up the player that could bring us our first trophy in years.
I would love Cesc to be back, but there is no guarantee swapping him for Ozil would work better than what we have currently.
As much as I love Cesc, he looks like a broken player. Still a great player. But I wouldn't swap him for Ozil who's a player on the up.
Not a chance. I'd buy him though.
The Özil to Barcelona rumours are hilarious. Selling Özil just wouldn't make sense.
Regarding the swap, I'm not sure.
