squeeky bum time ?
Nah, we leave that stuff to you and the mancs!
To be honest liverpool are the in form team 7 points away from the title, we are out of it and not to be disrespectful we do have bigger fish to fry, but we will give you a game, you can be assured!
Interesting you say you have bigger fish to fry.
It's interesting different clubs' priorities as the PL is the big one for us and I'm pretty sure we'd prefer to win that over the CL at the moment.

Perhaps if it wasn't 24 years since your last success you may see it differently.
If my team could only ever win either the PL or the CL it would be an easy choice.
I'd rather be the Champion of Europe than just the Champion of my own country.
I think next term we'll be in a better position to be challenging for both, when we have a striker on the books...
Superb
It's probably down to the fact that we used to always win it before my day and it's now been 24 years so it's our holy grail.
TBH iffy I'd just love us to be in the position Liverpool are.
For me it's the league every time; it's your bread and butter and if you win it, it says you've been the most consistent in your league that season. I never expected to be in the position we are at the moment, as I saw this season as one for building a new team up.
Having said that it's galling to think of the stupid points we've thrown away this season by not going for the jugular and killing teams off - we could and should have been out of sight by now.
The CL is just another cup to me, albeit a very prestigious one. It doesn't necessarily mean you were the best team, just you got the results on the day. 2012 is testament to that, I'm not naïve enough to think we were the best team in the tournament that year - just we put a fantastic defensive display on the night and got the result.
It sticks in my throat to say it but if, as looks likely, L'pool take the title they'll have been the team that deserve to be called the best!
I too would take the league first every year but the league is least likely of the 2 so I can see us prioritising the CL.
In truth I expect us to win neither but I am glad we have been challenging on at least 2 fronts right up to this late a stage in the season as it is more than we have done for a few years now. We are set up nicely to truly progress over the next few years.
I can't wish you luck, but may the best team win and may we have a game void of controversy.
CL for me, until we have won at least 3 of them.
But this would be the 4th season we go without a PL title, we can't make it 5. We have to win it next season!
Brummie and JFDI would you both really rather win the league than than the CL ??
Don't get me wrong I love winning the title and we certainly haven't won enough titles in the Roman era .
Having said that the Champions League has a level of prestige unmatched by any trophy in world football. Certainly at club level.
Definitely Superb, every day of the week without exception.
Winning the CL doesn't mean you're the best team in Europe but winning your league means you've been the best team in your country!

Maybe Brummie but then you could say that whoever wins the World Cup isn't necessarily the best team.
If we go down that route then we might as well make every football competition a league format as opposed to a knockout format.
Either way in order to win the CL you have to beat the very best club sides in the world just to get to the Final. So I'd say that whoever wins the CL in any given year fully deserves it.
^ and you have to beat them over two legs, not just over one game ^

Absolutely - but then again I don't give a fat rats tail about the WC
I have not even got a problem with your club. I read some of articles about rather man city then us. Honest I have not a bad word to say about your club.
Our rivalry is with Man Utd and Everton.
Good luck with your semi!
Funny enough we have man Utd, spurs have arsenal and sheff Utd have sheff Wednesday.
Who is your biggest rivals?
Is it Fulham?
No, we don't have one really. I don't class Liverpool as a rival either. For me it's more of a grudge match against a club I dislike!
League, definitely, always 1st for me.
We do not have a problem with your club brummie.
I admire the club winning mentality over the years and I do not believe for one minute your club will roll over for us on Sunday.

No Fulham are more like an annoying kid brother who you don't particular want to do well but don't want any harm to come to them either.
That about sums it up nicely Superb

I'd say that our biggest problem is that we have too many big rivals as opposed to just one big rival.
Every time we play another London team it's a grudge match and that's not even mentioning the rivalry we've developed with Utd and Liverpool in recent times.
Maybe that's why it's so difficult for us to win the title. So many teams seem desperate to stop it happening it seems.
I worry about next season because if Spurs and Man Utd get themselves a decent manager the 4th place spot will be not be easy.
And QPR are like an annoying kid brother who you can't be bothered to slap because they never learn but wouldn't stop any of your mates from slapping. Indeed the more they suffer the broader your smile.
If your club wins the champions league alot of clubs will be up for it against you next season.
