Totally agreed.
Fantastic season for us.
Fantastic season for us but I'm starting to wonder if I'll see us win the league in my lifetime! I've still got many years left to hope that I will, but these seasons only come around every so often and with Chelsea and City having the money to strengthen in ways that we don't this Summer, a second successive title challenge is highly unlikely.
Redincarnated, I am the same. I am 22 and have never seen us win the league, and well I am desperate to see it to be honest haha
It's been a fantastic season. Hopefully there are still a few twists and turns which go in our favour.
Regardless of what happens in the next games. I'm proud of the team. Even in defeat today we still bossed the game and tried to be offensive. We just came up against a good team, that set it's stall out to defend, which they did very well/ We just couldn't break that down or get that bit of luck we needed on the day. They got it instead.
The players and the manager have worked wonders this season. That shouldn't be forgotten in the aftermath.
We have done brilliantly this season whatever happens.
The big thing for us is to make sure we kick on this summer. We have to sign better players so we have more quality depth.
Rodgers and the players have given the board a question with their performance this season, 'Are you going to back us now to sign the quality we need to stay competitive at the top?'.
The answer to that question will determine whether this title challenge is a sign of things to come, or another false dawn.
