NORWICH

If Sunderland get the points against West Brom on the last day, I can't see Norwich surviving.

Bottom 3 as it is for me.

looks like they are down - Chelsea and Arsenal to play

but footballs a funny old game

On the bright side, if any of our old players missed Elland Road, they'll be looking forwards to coming back - albeit only once a season

Thought they would

Sacking houghton was suicide

"Sacking houghton was suicide"

It was in the sense that they now will have to appoint a manager as a Championship club. Hughton would be a top appointment for any Championship side.

Can't wait to see them go down

Pretty sure they are going down. Watching sides really struggle in the Premiership such a short time after dominating in the Championship is very worrying. The sides that go up through the playoffs seem to do better than those that get automatic it seems. Not sure what that says.

If they come down I want Snodgrass and Howson back.

Whilst I couldn't care less whether they go down or not, it would be quite amusing just to see the smiles wiped off the fans faces!

And there is NO chance at all Snodgrass would end up back here

I agree that it's unlikely that Snoddy, Howson and Johnson would come back to us. But oh the irony of them coming back to ER in the championship. Much as I would love to hear resounding choruses of, "You shoulda stayed at Leeds", I actually hope they get a respectful welcome.

not sure about Howson

unless he has improved, I always thought he lacked competitive bite when the going was tough. Have to say the brief snippets I have seen on MOTD, when I can be bothered to watch, have not left me thinking he has added that to his game

Snodgrass, yes please, but I think he'll stay in Prem

Personally I want to see them go down.

Not for any "I don't like the club" reasons but because they sacked a good manager who was doing a good job.

Personally I would see it as just deserts for a stupid decision by their board.

Hughton is a manager I never rated

Ain't we meant to be getting top class English and International player's now?..

Don't tell me there's none good enough!.

Mind you, looking at our new recruit at the Acadamy, I hope they can go 6months without pay!.

Agree LIW.

Remember this midfield:
Snoddy/Howson/BJ/Max

And then there's Delph. Hindsight,
But imagine picking a midfield from that lot.
We didn't know what we had til it was gone.

posted on 28/4/14

I think we did

Delph was hardly hindsight, now way we would have kept him

Batty

Nah people think a midfielder has to dominate every game and will never have bad games

Howson and Johnson were brillant when they were played in their correct position.

How anyone thought at the time any different is beyond me

Howson in attacking mid ran riot in this league.

Aye LIW
Remember all the fans saying BJ was kack.
Never agreed with that line of thinking. He was
A good player at Northampton. And good for us.
People forget his performances got him a look in
With the England team also. Solid player. Miss
His grit and power.

We need some new blood, not old.

I hope Cellino sanctions new signings. They've had their time here, get some fresh faces in.

Surprise us...!

I agree with Eric, not a road I'd go down

Good players and gave good service but need a new era

I agree also. My point about those named was more a case of look what we had at our disposal. A great group of midfielders.

Presently, we have stuff all.

So, yes, new blood please. But hope they're as good as the fine group Bates sold off.

I hope they stay up, nice little club & our lass has a Delia recipe book she rates highly.
