Meh. We'll struggle to create chances for Maynard or anyone at the moment.

I'd still want him but there's more pressing matters to attend to, like a winger, and worryingly we've barely been linked with any.

He's not the answer to our problems but would be a good addition if there's not a Loan Striker ready for us.

I hope the away pressure is less v Forest and we get it together.

He's not an average Championship player, he's arguably the best striker in the league and unfortunately if we want him thats how much its going to cost us.

Worth it in my opinion though, especially if we bid 7mill for Long, who I don't think is as good as Maynard.

What happened to the Routledge rumours? We whould go all out to sign both of them and quick!!

I would definitely go for him - have always said he should be our number one target. He is worth close on £7m if Shane Long is and last night seemed to quell any injury doubts we had.

Still think he is holding out for (and will get) a call from the Premiership,
