Might well have been Curly but had they not been stuck the gether like a dababtiy there was no environment for anything to happen

No winners here mate , love ma dug as much as the next but this was simply a complete administrative feck up.
One previous between the sides already at Firhill
Two another game cancelled due to concerns over this very scenario( I know there are other suggestions as to it being for financial reasons but as this was the official line it is the one that should have been used regards this match)

Both teams let down IMO

Both teams let down IMO

And by let down I mean by the organisers, not to take away from sections of both sets of fans shaming their clubs

Why did they put both sets of supporters in the main stand.

Was there actually any fan violence? Or are we all just over reacting?

I don't miss it CT I really don't

winning is great but losing is unbearable, coupled with the trouble off the park it seems to bring.

I don't need it.

Nah i totally miss it mate

Nothing better than waking up early on Sunday morning having dreamt that celtic won 3-0 and then realising that you still have it all to do .
Butterflies right up to kick off , drinking beer like its going out of production !
and then when the game kicks off letting the hatred flow at the first tackle a rangers players makes ...fair or not
cant beat it

Putting them in such close proximity was always a recipe for disaster. Would have been a bigger problem if it was a proper OF game.

Thinking about a return to full teams meeting again. There would have to be serious consideration given to either reducing the away or home allocation to allow for greater segregation

Chu

There has been an over-reaction as there always is but like i said earlier, i'm getting extremely uncomfortable with this eastern european approach to games by some so called fans. They don't even watch the game ffs

Regarding the songs, the famine song, roll of honour etc were sung and for the life of me why this is sung at a under 17s game is something that will always confuse me.

Cant agree on the rest of the world bit Ivan , infact no matter how much the OF derby was painted in that it was the summit of fierce rivalry there are far worse and I am talking for many years around the world

That's the way it is in every other derby in Scotland and most of the world.

Without sounding too harsh.... BOLLOX

Arsenal v Spurs
City v United
Birmingham v Villa
Galatasary v Fernabache
Ajax v Feyenord
Barca v Madrid
River Place v Boca

That's just off the top of my head where most of them result in stabbings and deaths ffs never mind meeting for a pint

Scotscelt, you make a fair point. Maybe in the civilised world then.

NNH, some of us warned against the rise of the Ultra movement ages ago and were shouted down on it. Just boys singing and creating an atmosphere we were told.

Boca - River Plate must be as bad as it gets from docs I have watched over the years if it aint then whats worse aint a fitba game , I think the news would just report it as a war
Then you have Athens derbies where oaway fans are not even allowed to attend etc etc

Didn't someone sniper a rival fan at a game last year?

Ivan, the green brigade did do that and i was fine with them up until they began to think they were politicians

These so called followers aren't anything like what the green brigade intended to be

In Latin America it's often in-fighting between rival groups within the same set of fans.

Being in charge of the Ultras is a very profitable position. Boca recently had what amounted to a civil war among its own support because of it.

NNH, it was always going to go that way though.

You boys should listen to me more often. I'm always right.

I'm right even when I'm wrong. Especially when I'm wrong.

To me Aberdeen are a weird lot in Scottish fitba they don't even have a rival but seem to manage to get a lot of bad publicity maybe they feel left out
