To compare Giroud with Ramsey is just ridiculous.
You could tell it affected Ramsey, was barely on Twitter before his upturn in form, now he's on it nearly every day.
By the way, it wasn't at the start of this season, it was in 2012. And it wasn't Hangelhaand

To compare Giroud with Ramsey is just ridiculous.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? Ramsey was being criticised because he had more yellow cards than goals and assists combined. Giroud has 21 goals and 9 assists in a season where he has been toiling up front on his own, with little support, and is being treated like a Santos-esque pariah.

There are huge differences between Ramsey and Giroud.
a) Look at their ages.
b) Ramsey was always considered an outstanding potential before his injury and lets face it, that was the ONLY thing that held him back. Once Ramsey recovered fully and got the little burst of pace he hasn't looked back.
c) Ramsey was ultra professional and worked himself back into his development arc.
I was suggesting Giroud was playing like a world class player at the beginning of the season but always feared he would regress. Players rarely develop at an older age and plateau if they regress. In my opinion thats whats happened to Giroud.
However what sealed the deal against Giroud was what did it in for Bendtner for me. I didn't see Ramsey smuggling in trollops in hotels hours before a vital match. I can take a player trying his best but just not reaching the mark. I can't accept a lack of professionalism.
I like to use Piers Morgan as the barometer. If he says somthing about our club e.g when he was going on a out getting rid of Ramsey, then you know it's trash. If i was a wob I would be alarmed this clown was agreeing with me and reassess everything I have thought.

Spot on, well said
YES Ramsey was playing fantastically well before his injury, which made his absence so tragic. His graph was on a big UP.
Following that appalling injury I for one thought that was the end of him as a top-flight player. I didn't want him sold, as I'm old-school and appreciate loyalty in club and player.
But I NEVER expected him to blossom into such a powerful and effective player. Such an inspiration!
If you are gonna call people out for the ludicrous things they write on here it's going to be a long night for you OP.
