I think we (Everton) have played good entertaining football this season considering it is a transition period, however as recent matches have now shown, we have shot our bolt and 69 points is what we will finish on.

City might get something at Goodison now that the David Moyes/Peter Walton axis of evil has been broken up.

And if we do manage get something from Goodison, which club will Liverpool fans and media blame the most if Liverpool ended up not winning the league?
Chelsea or Everton?

Martinez said he would end the season on 72 points ...or was it 71.
Cant see a full strength hull side out on the last day.
Stuck on 69 points......geez, dont you believe in our players lad?
If Liverpool don't win the league then the Gerrard huddle with the 'no fooking slip ups from here lads' then his slip against Chelsea will be shown time ans time again.
For me I wouldn't get bored watching that, especially if they show Stevieme in tears after the final game knowing his best chance of ever winning the league had gone by a mistake he made
We should just concentrate on going out and thrashing Newcastle and Palace boosting our goal difference and let City worry about themselves. They've a tough game against Everton, the pressure is on them.
Phil. It will forever be a blooper tape moment.

He's still got a couple of years in him yet. We can have another crack if we don't do it this season. Plus if we get to the final game and City are on top, Gerrard will have fully accepted before kick-off that we are not going to win it and so there will be no need for tears.
as a Manc red, I rember Stevie Me's deliberate back pass to Chelsea which let them win the league by a point. What goes around comes around Stevie, expect Everton to do something similar this weekend. Not a single Evertonian wants to see Liverpool lift that trophy at any price.

From the lack of maturity in your posts i'd be very surprised if you were old enough to remember his backpass.
Be careful, he will spit his dummy out.
But its on a cord attached to his romper suit
I was happy for Liverpool to win the league if we finished top 4 but with that dream over I'll happily lose this game if it means it stops Liverpool winning it. It's bitter I know but that's what rivalries include.
One day hopefully I'll hear that champions league music from the stands of the old lady. It gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it on the telly I can only imagine the euphoria that would rush through my soul at the ground.

seems some people have got a bit touchy. Its going to be a strange weekend with the majority of Everton fans wanting their own team to lose, and most United fans wanting City to win the league. No-one saw that coming.I have a strong feeling that United fans will end the season a lot happier than Liverpool fans, a new top manager and a world record £65m a year kit deal to be announced shortly. Tears on the kop last day of the season, priceless.
How many everton fans do you really know?
I will guess you will say a few at work and your bestest mate ever is a ST holder
Then dropping in a kit deal.....well united had a pretty good one this year and...oooops!

A bit like you have been over the years. The amount of articles praising your owners new commercial deals whilst finishing midtable were in treble figures over the past few years.
I guess you have forgotten about those
No but i'm looking to the future, i'm not looking at the past, you lot keep telling us that history doesn't matter in your posts.

Excellent, look to the future
We're all Everton fans tomorrow. Can see City winning though with Everton having players missing, and the fact that we handed City the initiative last weekend.
1-1 ossie to score for us
Had a fecking dream last night. Everyone was telling me Everton had won 1-0. Later that night I checked the score only to find out City won 5-0.
