this sounds messy tbh, but I think the sentiment is nice

Keny agree with that.
Mick I do. That doesn't make it right though.
Elite, I don't know.
£35 quid for that dross, at that schiedthole is a joke in fairness
Be nice if you cants would've had a whip round for us when wee gollum shafted us on the replay tickets
IE in truth I don't mind paying £35 for the final but I would mind paying that for kids and if I was a pensioner. It's a great gesture although I've no idea how they'll determine who gets the tickets.
A giant fight would be good

You should have asked
£35 to watch any Scottish team is overpriced
We gave away 1000 free tickets for our game on Saturday to schools. Seems like a good gesture but now it has sold out and there are still over 100,000 fans still looking for a ticket, not knowing whether the people who got the free tickets will even go or not, could be a bit of a shambles. Basically adults are finding kids with free tickets, stealing their ticket, trading it in at the office and upgrading the seat for £20 to an adult ticket for themselves.

Good idea
I wouldn't upgrade the ticket.
I'd just have a shave, attach some shoes to my knees, wear a long orange dress and pretend to be a young, Dundee Utd-supporting girl.
Probably even get away without shaving.
To be honest, in Dundee, if free tickets are handed out in schools, that means that 3 generations of a family can go to the game for free.

I'm split on this
Firstly, nice gesture, always good to see people better off giving money for those worse off
Flipside though, its £35, its not £100
Much is a ticket for a home game at Tannadice these days....£20??
So to go and watch your team play in a Cup Final is £10-15 more expensive, is that not worth it???
Dont think the SFA are at fault much here, starting price for a ticket for the FA Cup Final this season is £45, with prices rising to £115
Students can get into the Scottish Cup Final for a tenner
East/West stand tickets are £28, a fiver dearer than a home game at Tannadice, the rest are £35 notes.
Dont really see why the SFA are getting it in the neck for charging £35 a ticket for such a high profile game
Cant fault the sentiment Ivan but the SFA stance is still fecked up
Not sure what incentive this gives the SFA to see sense

Its a fookin stupid and disgraceful gesture / sentiment, cants are begging on the streets of the streets of Dundee and there is a justgiving page to send fans to watch a game of fitba
=========
this puts this idea to shame tbh, now I think of it there are food banks people need to go to these days.
maybe the club should subsidise it
If you can go afford to go and watch Dundee United all season long, surely you can afford £35 for a Cup Final ticket
Think there may be an element of trying to bolster United fan numbers as much as possible here in order to prove some kind of a point/increase allocations in future??
