St3vie, I've said more than once I don't mind paying £35.
My issue is the lack of concessions. I don't believe theysshould be limited to one stand.
I personally would have a standard price of £30 and £12 around the stadium.
Again, I don't see the issue with helping people out. Maybe it says something about the society we live in that this is being taken as anything other than a kind gesture.
sake ivan just pay the £35
im onto you, this is your just giving page and your trying to get people to pay for your ticket.

So folk shouldn't help others out unless it's done under the guise of a regulated charity?
No wonder community spirit is dead.
I dont have a problem with it and dint know why anyone would.
It's all relative.
We all use Internet to get on here when there's starving weans out there .
Or buy alcohol
New shoes
Etc etc

Curly this fund has nothing to do with Thompson or the club.
He's a pure dobber though, I think you are missing that point Ivan

It's fairly common for cup finalists to don their new strip on the big day is it not? I'm pretty sure Celtic have done it.

Curly, I can understand why the club are doing it - commercially they want to make as much money as possible. It's not something that sits comfortably with me though as I do think it's in many ways fleecing fans for money. Some will feel obligated to buy it but then I suppose more fool them for it.
However I don't think your point works because the new kit was going to be released anyway - all we've done is pull the release date forward a few weeks to take advantage of the cup final. If it had been a top solely for the cup final then your point would be valid but it's not - it's for next season too.
I think your argument here is pretty spurious mate. It doesn't really work and it sounds like you just hate Thompson (and possibly Kevin Thomson too ).
Regardless of all this nonsense, the fund is pushing up towards £5k now, which is terrific.
By the way Curly, just to clarify something that I've just found out....
United For All is actually a registered charity - OSCR SC039922.
It's main aim is to encourage participation in sport.
Its honorary president is Lorraine Kelly.

To be fair I do have issues with it and I did say that it didn't sit comfortably with me.
However, the releasing of the new kit has nothing to do with the lack of concessions in tickets.
Given that the SFA is the ruling body with the stated aim of encouraging young fans and families to football, and is also a not-for-profit organisation (I think that's the case anyway) then I see no reason why it's not going out of its way to encourage more families to go.
Regardless, even if the SFA were charing everyone a fiver to go, I still think this would be a fantastic gesture and would support it.
As for the charity, fecking google it yourself ya lazy bassa.
