Yeah Dumbarton score loads so we will need to score at least 3 to win the league. Will be in Frews from about 12 probably so feel free to come along and buy me a pint. Can't afford the price of pints these days.
"There was a misconception that there were 16,000 concession tickets. That was inaccurate. There were concession tickets available in the stand that held 16,000 people. How many of those 16k were concession tickets I don't know."
Well according to the SFA website, the following is the case: http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=1957&newsID=13272&newsCategoryID=1
North/South: £35 (no concession)
East/West: £28/£10 (under-16s, over-65s, students)
That would say to me the entire East and West stands were sold at concession prices
, and the North and South stands wont be
I'm no expert on Celtic Park, but after a very quick wiki check, the East stand is the Lisbon Lions stand, and the West stand is the Jock Stein stand, and both those stands hold 13,000.
So if both these stands were given up for concessions, that 26,000 seats of 60,000 seat stadium given up for concessions....almost half
I'm guessing this was not the case and the figure was 17,000....so like I said, its a third of the ground
For me, thats a good amount
NNH - this isn't about Thompson. People might want to make it about him, but it's not.
Although I see the club have made a donation of £5k to the fund, while also making a similar donation to a skin cancer charity in support of Jordan Moore.
Barry, I'll start up a Just Giving page to make sure you get a few pints tomorrow
Best of luck with the game though. I genuinely hope you can do it and get up. But since it's Dundee I expect a few twists and turns!
I wonder what odds you'd get on both Dundee and Hamilton losing tomorrow.
Ivan , Thompson quoted in the Dundee courier apparently

I've nothing wrong with what fans are doing with this fund, it's very generous and i can't see anything wrong or negative about it.
Like i said though i don't think any fan can complain about prices for a final these days, it's a showpiece event and £35 by all accounts is cheap
St3vie, as I've said repeatedly over the last few days, I'd have had a standard £30 and £12 around the stadium.
I wouldn't have complained if it was £35 and £12 to be honest.
I think that would have been fair and would have allowed a higher number of kids to attend.
St3vie, he mentioned the prices once a few days ago. It's hardly giving it laldy
If it wasn't Tayside these kants were from it wouldn't be as bad
"I wouldn't have complained if it was £35 and £12 to be honest."
Just because they have concessions all around the ground at Tannadice doesnt mean the SFA should do it for the cup final
Again, this isn't just about United - I'd price it that way for every cup final, regardless of which team were involved.
And I think the SFA should do it for the cup final. Encouraging kids and all that.
I do hear your argument Ivan
But sorry mate, its belating for fck all
Your team is in the final.
Pay the price to see them, it aint robbery

I'd sagely nod my head and say it was entirely fair
I certainly wouldn't complain about it for years afterwards and bring it up on threads that have absolutely nothing to do with it 5 years later.

I got paid 2 days ago mate
And anyway, I don't complain. I simply point out the flaws in plans and suggest ways in which to improve things.
